Dear devotees, today we are celebrating Sri Nityananda Candra who gives you nothing less than Lord Krishna. We are celebrating the auspicious appearance day of Sri Nityananda Candra who gives the association of Sri Gaurangadeva. Lord Nityananda who is the origin of Sankarsan, this attractive personality executes His wonderful pastimes in Mathura and Dvaraka; in these spiritual places the Lord exhibits his pastimes.
Pure love for Lord Sri Krishna is inconceivable to all. He is the epitome of maximum happiness. Sri Nityananda gives this pure love and gives worship and service, which is dominated by opulence and grandeur. When Lord Nityananda was younger he conducted His activities in Eka Chakra and freely gave the association of Sri Krishna who is none other than Lord Gauranga.
Nityananda traveled to different places in the association of Sri Madhavendra Puri, then met with Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Nityananda came to deliver to the masses the holy name of the Lord and met Jagai and Madai who He rescued from their abominable condition. Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu accepted them exhibiting His pure and spotless character.
After accepting the renounced order of life Sri Gauranga was accompanied by Nitai Prabhu. Day and night Lord Caitanya was intoxicated by His enormous desire to distribute the holy names of Lord Krishna. But Lord Nityananda was eager to spread the holy name of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He gives the association of Sri Gaurangadeva. Nityananda Prabhu please give this fallen soul, profound and resolute faith in the Lord. But if your lotus feet are ignored everything one has done in life fades like a dream.Taking the order of Sri Caitanya upon His head Sri Nityanandadev was well received wherever he went to preach.
Today I tell all the devotees who are gathered in this Sunday chat to renew your vows for Sri Nityananda Prabhu. This mission of Sri Caitanya is marked by Lord Nityananda, without Him no one would know about Vrindavan, which is Radha Krishna and we are indebted to Him for having made Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu accessible to us and for allowing us to stay connected with the mission of Gauranga Nityananda and being able to chant the Mahamantra. Thus, invoking these names from the heart we will be heard, for it is a gift for everyone. Everyone chanting the holy name of the Lord and associating with devotees was what Srila Prabhupada inspired us to do.
In any place one can establish this preaching that connects one to the holy name of Krishna, this is the call of Gauranga. Wake up sleeping souls, wake up, that's the call of the Lord, that is medicine, and that is something essential and therefore it must be recommended to others if you want to give something valuable to others, give them the mahamantra.
So the temples are wonderful and we must make them a place where all can go and participate in the process of Bhakti Yoga. The sankirtaneer is wonderful because he is symbolically a representative of the dance of NitaiGaura. One has to ask to be an instrument in His hands that should be our meditation and thank the Lord that He put you at the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda. So preach and connect with people, that will suffice for the rest of life. For example, today I have the joy of presenting from Mexico, now that Acintya Prabhu came from Colombia with the Varsana magazine; this is the second magazine, after the Vrinda magazine that we have to show what is Krishna consciousness. And so we can come in contact with Him and so to not enter into doubt we have supreme essence and the Supreme reason which is Sri Gauranga Radha Vrajesvara, they are our lords; we must worship Them so Lord Nityananda is happy, worshipping Nityananda who is Guru.
We receive this magazine from Varsana gratefully, we are in the hands of the Lord and are thankful for all the ecological organic farms we have now. If you ask Srila Bhaktisiddhanta what are our plans, the answer is to extend and expand Krishna consciousness. This magazine and the Vrinda magazine should be in the hands of all the devotees since we give an overview of what we are working on.
Besides this Acintya brought a new book from Yoga Inbound along with the CD that explains all you need to do to advance, in addition what is left is the student guide, worked on by Prabhu Kripa Ram of Colombia, printed by Seva Colombia, and so we will be connected with the Lord forever. Remember that all these efforts are also an offering to Sri Nityananda and we hope that you all continue to serve the lotus feet of Sri Nityananda.
