Family 3/31/13 From Germany
Dear devotees, Greetings from Berlin Mela.
I am very pleased to address you again.
Today I want to talk about some of the decisions that we have to take in life. Personally, I'm not married, I always thought I could not serve a single person, but I wanted to serve all who I could. When I was given sannyas I could not perceive all that would involve my decision, but I felt a very strong desire to serve and that's what I'm trying to do.
Being renounced is serious and involves a great sacrifice. I confess that in me, sometimes I get really sad to see that it is very difficult to completely for happy homes in Kali Yuga. I constantly receive letters or messages on the difficulties of my sons and daughters in marriage. I am sorry that I can not always trust a man's hand to one of my spiritual daughters and assure that they will have a good life. That makes me want to run out of this world. For the final analysis, one is fully involved in the spiritual welfare of his family. I preach every day to never let infidelity arise nor abandonment, I preach what is necessary to ensure that things develop properly, however, lust and sexual attraction is very strong that it can be compared with blindness, as it makes people lose all ability to see the spiritual vision and surrender completely to the desires that will lead directly to the wheel of suffering.
Going further, it is not just lust, but it's important to protect one commitment to another person, that's spiritual maturity and that's what we strive to maintain, despite the difficulties that come every day. It makes me very happy to know that there are families who manage to remain stable in spite of all this and behave in an exemplary manner, constantly striving to be faithful to the principles. Anyway, sometimes I do not know what else to do to make the devotees really be trained and learn to be better and more compliant with the people around them ...
There are four routes identified when complying with something, you can accomplish this by fear, attachment, duty or love. A marriage is an instance of full responsibility of full compliance. If someone wants to marry one of my spiritual daughters, you must take responsibility and have an economical means secured to care for her. But very few devotees are able to take this request seriously. I have many great spiritual daughters, fighters, helpful and rendered, but very few candidates for them. If I had a child of blood brought into the world, I'd have much fear of not being able to maintain him, since parents are the ones who will give them all the tools so this child can be saved from a materialistic life and become a surrendered devotee. The only solution for someone who wants to become a good grhastha is becoming a serious devotee, a leader who is surrendered to the service of the spiritual master. A devotee of such dedication never stops chanting the holy names of the Lord and reads the scriptures and thus becomes conscious of the responsibility that has been given to him.
We can not go against the karma of others, but we can preach and excite them to become real human beings and responsible. So, my dear, there is nothing more to say: we have to leave this material world at all costs. So that is why there are dedicated warriors who decided to renounce, in order to fight and help others in the fight.
We all appreciate being pampered or would like to have someone waiting at home with a nice smile and a hot dinner :) but in the end, the story is that the material world was created to suffer and to awaken from this illusion and re- establish our lost relationship with God. That I can give as a guarantee. Personally, I'm not married, had no children or wife, but I suffer deeply when I see the sadness of my children due to irresponsible or poorly rendered marriages. Imagine, when a woman marries she gives a man his life, and then become pregnant and if the man does not answer that becomes a hell, it's terrible, human lives are at stake. Imagine being placed in the position of a woman in that situation, someone with three children whom she loves very much, but reminds her of the husband who abandoned her, that is not easy. Sure, women by nature are very strong and it's likely that someone in that situation raises the family and educates their children in the best way, but there are always exists advantage takers who want to exploit women who are alone.
What does this mean?
Only another reality of this worlds misery. Relationships are not maintained and everything becomes chaos. Kali Yuga is terrible. I do not want to discourage them, I'd rather speak about the beautiful times we had these months on the banks of the Ganges and the Yamuna, but we must also address the situations of everyday life which enable us to fight to avoid or learn to face them in the best manner possible.
My dear daughters, should always be protected under the umbrella of the spiritual master.
Those who have the fortune of a good marriage, fight to keep your family and educate your beautiful children in the most conscious and consistent way, so that they become preachers, future leaders, environmentalists and animal advocates and defenders of life and consciousness. Those of you that have had to suffer family breakdown, take refuge in the Vishnupriya Ashram, which are special places for mothers to engage in the spiritual culture and continue educating children in the company of other devotees. Those who continue to live in the temple, and they are beautiful Vishnupriyas, please always support married and unmarried mothers, make them feel part of the temple and engage them in service as well as their children.
My dear children, become leaders, responsible preachers, fighters and workers.
Be dedicated to sankirtan, as a serving sankirtaneer to Mahaprabhu, there is never anything missing. Krishna provides you with all you need. If you are grihastas, be true to the family you are caring for and work for them so there is nothing lacking. Stay always connected to the temple with donations and support to the service of the deity and preaching. Do not forget that all we have received as a grhastha belongs to Krishna.
If you are brahmacaris and have not yet decided on your future, work and serve as if you had 10 children, this will be the school that will polish you in service to the spiritual master and will give you the strength in the future, whether you become grhastha or sannyasis become dedicated and responsible. Our life should be exemplary in order to offer it to the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada. And please, do not make separate plans, those who want to start a family should do so with all the blessings, so we established the Vrinda Mission Marriages Awareness program protected by Mother Laksmi, for applicants to be trained in the process.
This is my message for today ... Never let go of the preaching and sankirtan. I hope they you are all very enthusiastic in your seva. And with all my heart, I am very happy to meet with you again, very soon. Thank you for participating in the chat of Srila Prabhupada.
With affection
Your always wisher,
Swami B.A. Paramadvaiti
Looking for new ways to preach. 03/24/13 Vrindavan.
Dear devotees Vrinda family.
A hug from Sri Vrindavan Dham heart. Thanks to the mercy of Srila Prabhupada we are once again in Sri Vrindavan Dham. I have two days here before going to Europe.
These days in Mayapur we had a nice seminar on Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur's Saranagati. We were meditating on how to remove anything that is not favorable to devotional service. When will be the day that I can fully surrender my heart? One should meditate. My Lord is always watching over me certainly. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura glorifies Sri Yamuna and encourages us to surrender to Krishna.
Once, when we were working on the project of returning Yamuna Devi to the ghats of Vrindavan, we found a Balaram deity and then placed Him on the altar. There is also a project that began with the name Balaram. This project has been functioning for quite some time. Someone said Mr. Gill, who led the project, was doing Balarams service, to bring the Yamuna back to her place. It sounds funny but that's how it is, Mr. Gill was inspired to do this service and did it for the joy of all in Vrindavan. Thus we meditate on Sri Vrindavan, on how the Lord continuously manifests His desire, not only in the past but in the present, every day.
In this chat today I want to clarify an issue, especially for devotees who are with me for many years. Many of you have seen how it has developed Vrinda mission. Sometimes something particular has been emphasized at different times. Or we have seen many attempts to do something nice. All of these are offerings to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. First and wholeheartedly, if I have bothered someone at some point, this would give me a lot of grief. If this occurred, I sincerely apologize to them. Apologies if I've bothered someone to make them feel that some innovations that new ideas to expand Krishna consciousness are absolute and that it must be done without having to do anything else. Indeed, as I put in the book: The temple president: These instructions are applicable depending on the number of devotees who are in one place, depends on what you can do.
For example:
If a Hindu community in the city, you have to pay attention to them. I'm always thinking in my mind of how to engage people in services. Create options, options to expand Krishna consciousness. Educating our children. Involve people who are away from their family, who still are not vegetarians, or who feel solidarity with Mother Earth but have had no contact with the mystique of Vedic wisdom. Now a day there are many people scared with the state of the environment. And try to do something but never heard a Vaishnava's interpretation of these issues. Unaware of holistic living, spiritual respectfulness, simple living high thinking. A higher taste, they have not known this. I always think of how to engage others. Engage more people to understand the treasure of love, bhakti. That is one of our major efforts. Even SEVA our publications have had this direction. For example, I published many Vedic wisdoms because I thought there lacked a basic introduction to why Krishna consciousness is so important.
Mysterious India also published a work of Walter Eidlitz and we also tried to post the Yoga Correspondence Course. All these works, in my mind, have a good justification. Some motivation to help, some innovation with the aim of giving more people Krishna. And give more variety of service to the devotees as well. Sometime Srila Prabhupada said that all they have to do is sell books and everything else will come by itself. But when you're in a town like Copiapó and La Serena or other tiny towns, you need other forms of income after distributing books in the streets, in three months all know the books or they say, I have it. Then to preach in such places we must have other ideas. Here we enter the flexibility like the emergence of the devotees bakeries, restaurants, retreats, all ideas that can fund one idea or on the other a project to have a wide variety of activities. At the same time, sometimes I refer to something that seems to be all important at the time but with new idea I am not making light reference to the prior idea. In other words, as a devotee told me: if you try to follow all the instructions you will become crazy. And I give the reason for that is too much and no one can do everything. So this requires a certain power of discrimination. And judging a certain spirit of the time, place and circumstance. Because for example, in each country, the legalities are different. Some countries may be able to do one thing and others may not. In Mexico, a devotee can collect, in one day, $ 200. That is a heavy sankirtan day, the same devotee does that in Bolivia, with the same energy, or Venezuela, and collects $ 20. Not that the work is less but sometimes somewhere there are more facilities compared to other places. There are also devotees who are experts in something somewhere and I try to talk about them to other devotees trying to share with them the success they are experiencing. Either way from Mexico to Argentina and Europe, Lord Krishna has ensured that our Vrinda mission remains always very humble and poor. Well, not everywhere because to have a farm like Varsana or Ecotruly Park is a great opulence. But at the same time if you know how it got up like New Vrindavan in Argentina, with a loan from Gurudeva Atulananda and the repayment is to be done in 8 years or so.
Also the energy of many creative devotees has humbly produced materials such as a yoga course. Rather, what I would call as high intelligence of the Vrinda mission is completely absorbed in creating new branches or ways of preaching like the House of Wisdom or how there are many centers, and to the majority they must manage one thing and another thing at the same time, etc. All this has helped us be present in the development of spirituality but if we analyze it from a business point of view we are of very small scale. Maybe you felt uncomfortable by the number of instructions that I give every Sunday in the Chat. You may say: oh no, not another idea. We're still on the previous idea that did not work and now comes a new idea and then comes the next. How are we going to do all that with five devotees? Of course, this is also of a certain immaturity because those who know me know that I follow the spirit of Srila Prabhupada which is not imposition, is not required and most of all I hope no one is afraid. I do not want to work under the pressure of fear, much less want to frighten others for what they are doing. That has never been my intention. Neither fear nor troublesome.
I try to give ideas, I try to give news. I try to bring variety and color as the Kumbha mela with our costumes that have shown up at all the press in India. Everything was very nice, everyone realized our work. Virtually without many words we got a strong message across in favor of the Ganga and the Yamuna that was heard up to the Parliament of India and lately they have some resolutions in favor. We stand behind the Yamuna water reaches Vrindavan pure, if this happens then our little effort had some value. But you have to keep fighting against the greed that is destroying our Mother Nature. And some may understand this differently or some more than others, for example Damodara Maharaj in Chile is very active in such awareness campaigns.
Other devotees working in the Sierra Nevada, one of the most beautiful places in the world, felt the call to protect this place before the threat of corporations. So for some people this type of work is very important while a pujari, for example, has nothing to do with it. The deity worships and serving the people who come before the deity. Or the cook does not care about the finances, until no more rice or salt is given, then at that point they will begin to worry about the economy of the temple. So, there are different areas naturally as varnas: sudras, vaisyas, ksatriyas and brahmanas all have their respective areas of activities. But in a temple, a Vaishnava can do any work of the four social classes, because when you do a service to Krishna with love there is no problem doing whatever is necessary. It is also true that if one engages in a specific activity then they have little opportunity to get into other areas.
So I want to make this clear in this chat that I only suggest, and my suggestions should not bother anyone nor should anyone feel pressured. And when devotees have other ideas, I also support them and give them suggestions. I'm always listening to what others say, because listening to the devotees and seeking ways of preaching is the highest form of mercy obtainable. I think with this I said everything I wanted to say to clarify that which may not be clear. I think for many it is clear, that is the case, but do not forget my dears that when I make a visit to a country in a week, it is mathematically impossible to meet all the projects of the yatra. And that is that Krishna wants you to grow. And apply the time, place circumstances to ideas. For example, I spent many years with Srila B.R. Sridhar Maharaj and he never asked me how many temples we have. At that time we had about 36 temples and it was a lot to handle. Today there are over 36 but the problem is the same. No time to attend all properly, partially of me but on your part you can still do and you will grow spiritually attending and receiving the ideas.
In the development of service tests are presented, which enable one even if difficult. There are positive challenges, beauties such as someone arriving and giving a farm as well as wanting to do a project there. So one is left scratching their heads and thinking about how to help there. As for Puri Maharaj in Brazil, he came to me and said: I have this land. I went there and saw that the place was so far away that the jeep I took died out when we arrived. The place was on a mountain and it was nice to be situated in the nothing, from there you could see a waterfall 30 km away. Then I told Puri Maharaja that best to find another place and by Krsna's arrangement and this land was exchanged for what is now Vrinda Bhumi. And now it is a beauty and it's expanding. And that they gave to me as a gift. Puru Maharaj came to me with this land and said "what shall we do?" I said, "what we do with it, you must do it". Thus came the new yoga Vrinda Bhumi Monastery.
So in preaching surprises will occur, virtually all Vrinda family estates were given as gifts. Or at least the resources. Everything that comes from Krishna is a compromise. And if they give us something we have to take care of it. All that development one can say: Mercy challenge. I do not know what is coming tomorrow. So, if you have ideas, let me know. I'm open to ideas from you. And work with all the devotees around that they also have a chance to develop, to increase awareness of Krishna. And take a lot of responsibility. We will see many more surprises, do not hesitate.
Next year marks 30 years of the Vrinda mission, 30 years of surprises. We will see more surprises and I hope that they be very pleasant surprises for all of you. Because it will grow and be prepared to reach the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada which is the only destination that cent per cent I know. The lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada are those who walked this earth. And walking this earth, those lotus feet, awakened Krishna consciousness in my heart and in many souls. Prabhupada retired from this world to go where Krishna is and he is waiting for us there. Because he did not just throw this message to the world and then stopped worrying about us. His heart is too big and beautiful. Srila Prabhupada Ki Jay,
Thank you for connecting to the Chat Srila Prabhupada
Haribol!

Offering the best of us 3/17/13 From India
Dear devotees.
I want to send a special greeting to all the devotees of South America participating in this chat on Sunday. I feel very connected to all of you. Here we are busy with much work, primarily for the WVA. Truly if we have any substantial development it is because of the regional office that is working on all this for many years and Pancatatwa prabhu who has supported me from the beginning. Today the office is working on many projects such as the "Gaudiya Directory". As technology has not yet reached the Gaudiya temples of India, then our office does a great service to connect them with the world. And I think that in two years or more we will see much result of all these efforts. In truth, not everyone understands that WVA because they don't know that it exists.People reject something when they do not understand or know how to use it, even that happens to me. Life forces us to learn new things every day.Even if you're young, you have to learn new things. What came to my meditation on this day is the next topic. We should be aware of Krishna even in the difficult times of life. Please do not give up. There is really no reason to give up.It was a great accomplishment to have this human birth and now you have to do something valuable. We will be judged by the things we do.We should consider offering the best of us, to make things right. Here from the Ganga, with many saints, big sannyasis and devotees, I bow to all and I ask: Please let me do some service. I pray from my heart with this request. The Guru disciple relationship is the most beautiful. Although the world may not understand. The guru is the doctor of the soul. He does not speculate. A good doctor, if he's not sure how to heal you, then sends you to a specialist, not that he says, " we will try this and perhaps it goes well." At initiation one receives the mantra. This mantra has power, you have to receive it from a reliable master, and the pupil must have a reliable attitude of surrender to the ideal of the spiritual master.A Vaisnava has nothing else in mind but to help humanity, this quality makes him a reliable representative. He will work hard to make others happy, such as the hard work to keep the holy Dhama clean, distribute books, etc. work hard for the service of others. The devotees of the Lord are happy to take care of anything for the service of others. I want to do something for you. This is my meditation and prayer.
and today the internet is not helping us a lot. A hug from my heart to all my readers. Now I will attend a meeting with a friend, the acharya of the Gopinath Gaudiya Math.I hope that everyone works together always supporting each other. An advanced leader, is one who transmits to everyone that he is a happy server. And that leadership encourages everyone. That is the art to maintain a lively spirit in a community. It is not about growing alone but growing and inspiring the voluntary support of others happiness too. A leader is one who creates leaders, and I hope for all of you to be like this.To help me keep all these projects inspired by Srila Prabhupada.

The Mission Of Srila Prabhupada From Mayapur 3/10/13

From India.
Dear devotees, receive all my affection from Jahnavi Kunja Gaudiya Math, on the banks of the Ganges, watching the sunset.
Today's message is about learning to appreciate what we have received and recognize who is behind it all. Srila Prabhupada opened the doors of this house (Krishna Consciousness) to enlighten everyone. It is impressive, as today we are gathered from all over to sing, dance, and honor prasadam. No one, by no means has been able to deny the place of appearance of Sri Caitanya where we are today, we can even say that it has come to public attention that Sri Caitanya was here over 500 years ago, bringing a very important message to spread to all the world.
If we think a little more, it's all about the relation of how things manifest. For example, someone may think that the mission of Srila Prabhupada ended when he left this world, but they are very wrong. Because Srila Prabhupada's Mission is recently manifesting, the world is still recently being notified that there is a very large and revolutionary message that is being heard. It is not difficult to conclude that we are all brothers and sisters, it's easy to understand ... but getting to the scientific practice of this brotherhood, and appreciating all in your life, sharing your life with others, it is not yet widespread among people.
I recently stayed at Kumbha Mela and had the experience of meeting with many yogis from different schools and mystical ways. Without wishing to criticize but to discuss my experience, I met many yogis seeking just close their eyes to get a quick trance or any apparent meditation, but that's not the process. I wish it were that easy. However, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, brought a process with practical results for the soul in a very innovative way.
In Kumbha Mela we attended a seminar (oddly named) "Innovation in spirituality." How can we define innovation in spirituality? Well, actually, the spiritual life itself, put into practice is a complete innovation, especially in this age of Kali Yuga. Because even one could make something similar to the spiritual life selfishly, conducting some sort of karma-kanda activity for the benefit of others, but it is intended to be personal benefit for oneself. But Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu brought a process where the practice is based on service and where the highest goal is the loving service. The underlying theme is love itself. The love you bring to your life often involves bringing anxiety, suffering, tears into your life. Rather, in those terms, loving someone means "getting into trouble", so people today do not care about anyone, not wanting anyone to love, knowing that loving someone means sacrifice and suffering. Mahaprabhu did not say that, on the contrary, He says love and care for everyone, do something so that everyone can be part of the Parivar of our spiritual master, our spiritual family. If someone is suffering in that process, we accompany and try to help. That is natural: we are committed love, love at hand, makes us suffer for the beloved. If you think that you want love, but do not want suffering, then you need to check your calculations, because love comes with suffering. In addition, people today suffer anyway why not have someone to love.
This idea of love, spiritual innovation means we must be ready to suffer in the process of loving others. It's like this: if you suffer for Mother Earth and try to do something for her to protect her, it will be very good for you because you will be able to live in a very natural environment. Whatever you want involves some renunciation, i.e. abstain from chemicals, etc. Because one way or another we are addicted to the things that the world has imposed and simple living high thinking means a process of getting used to the simple. That applied to the current context is a complete innovation.
So the conditioned system has to get accustomed to this. When Prabhupada said that we are conditioned souls he knew what he was talking about, we are conditioned to our comforts, if we have a chair to which we are conditioned, and then I can no longer sit on the floor. If the things that I am conditioned to disappear, then I feel that I am nobody. At that level is our identification with the material. Furthermore, real humility means recognizing that we are dependent on mercy and that we are being maintained. That's the first thing to learn. The first question one asks is: how am I being maintained? It is a real process of meditation. That is where you come to the conclusion that there is someone behind that gives you everything you receive and appreciate that, one cannot find words to give thanks to such a wonderful gift. Thus the grateful person reciprocates with God for everything He has given him and give thanks for maintaining him.
Now, this grateful person has the opportunity to be maintained by God to live in a sustainable way and in harmony with the environment. Many things are very difficult to leave, because we are so conditioned to them, to leave our own conditioning is a very complex process. Everything is there to make us aware of it, but we do not realize. Just as the soul is there, but you're not even aware of your own soul. Materialistic people fail to achieve this, they think that everything was just an accident. Poor people in this world who have been misled.
If I assume that I'm maintained and that there are things that are not positive for my maintenance, I can understand that the Supreme Designer wants me to accept things beneficial to my maintenance. It does not take rocket science to understand this. Otherwise you end up living a lie where you think there is neither a maintainer nor maintenance.
Do you really want to live a lie?
You want to live to learn how to become a liar with title and public license?
If you accept that you are maintained, then it is reasonable to wonder who is maintaining me? Imagine if every day you get out of bed and you find a feast of wonderful breakfast and the next day the same, at some point you wonder Who is preparing it? That is what spirituality involves, wondering who is doing this feast for me. Mother Nature is doing this daily feast: goodbye to tomorrow's afternoon sun and we welcome that sun the following day, that's wonderful, a real feast for the eyes. Maybe some people do not admit it, but we are constantly surrounded by a feast.
Recognizing that nature made this feast is a good approximation, the point now is who impregnates Mother Nature to do it, who gives the seed that produces everything? Life comes from life, the Supreme Maintainer. That is the meaning of life itself. If you want to know what life is, you have to give all the necessary importance to this issue and investigate it. That's another topic ... How to do this? How to find the answer to something I think is important? It is a very difficult question. Rather, the answer is not very difficult. What do you do when you want to know the answer to something, when you want to find something I do not know where? (Here the devotees give their answers) The answer is: one automatically prays when they need an answer and they do not know where to find it. We can even say that you not only "pray", but "crying" so the answers manifests.
In the same way, we mourn for true love, for truth to be revealed in our hearts. Only when we cry with all our heart for the truth, the answers appear. It's not structured, much less a simple ritualism, it is the power of calling from the heart. It is not a mechanical blessing. You have to mourn from deep within your heart if you want to find the person that is giving you this feast everyday. You yourself must "convince" God what you're looking for and your momentum is such that you will not take no for an answer. You have to show Him you're ready for anything in order to receive the real message and real mercy in your heart.
Then someone may ask: How long will I have to pray? Well, until you see the answers. Once you have received a response, you must embrace it wholeheartedly and only then love will begin to emerge. The chanting of the Maha-mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krsna Krsna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare.
comes loaded with pure faith and intention behind it that one really wants to become a servant of that little blue boy who lives in Vrindavan and plays the flute stealing the hearts of all. By praying with faith one is sure to gets results If you have not reached this kind of faith, then pray to have that faith, to appreciate the right things. Belief - having faith, is a real mercy that makes life becomes a feast. And by believing in the right things you get a great gift to be shared with others. And to deepen it, one must also assess the quality of what you are giving to others. Indeed, one does not know what to give to others, because they have nothing to give, but by mercy faith and love that comes from God, we can convey that same thing, which is not ours but it has been revealed to us.
So giving to others becomes a way of life: live to give your love, live to give true knowledge, live in a kind manner with the environment, live deeply, accepting other people the same way we want to be accepted. My spiritual master was (physically speaking) older and small. When I first saw (with my worldly view) thought: How is this man so old and so seemingly small have so much power? And the answer is because it was not of this world and his sincerity and unconditional love saved us so much that today, 40 years after he departed from this world I'm sitting in front of you talking about him and because of him, all of you are here listening to these words.
In the material world one gets money, fame, fleeting pleasures, that's not what people need. People are looking for someone who can say: I met this person who completely surrendered himself for the benefit of others, that gave the best he had, and that made the difference. So I want to deliver something good and positive to people and I want you to also be part of this valuable transaction. So we must strive to give the best we have ... and what is the best? It is our love as Srila Prabhupada taught us. This innovative movement Harinama-sankirtan of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is based on that same concept, giving of love. It is by love that Krishna says: Come to me, come to Vrindavan, receive My prasada ... The Lord is really behind us, to the point of obsessing, because one becomes obsessed by love.
This is the message I want to share with you today, from the wonderful Sri Mayapur Dham. Surrender your love, give your best to others and show to everyone who is behind the feast that we receive every day. To end the chat today I want to share with you two pieces of information. The first is a very beautiful and important announcement, there is a new sannyasi in our spiritual family that was initiated today, his name is Bhakti Caitanya Govinda Sundar Maharaj, who is in a hospital in the hands of Krishna because of terminal cancer. This morning he received his sannyasi name, sannyas mantra via telephone. He is originally from the Dominican Republic but is currently in the U.S. where he rendered service and has supported the program for quite some time at Govardhan.
Maharaj has been well known for being the winner of the gold medal in the wheelchair marathon and therefore larger than this is the fact that he has a heart of gold that has emphasized a lot. I hope Krishna gives the opportunity to have him in my arms during my next visit to New York in April, because last year I had to cancel because of the invitation we received from four original people of the Sierra Nevada. If we can all pray for him to have a lot of strength because he will continue doing chemotherapy during this time. We will share more news about Maharaj on Sunday, be with us in this way in the fight for the health of this dear brother and sannyasi.
The other news is that these days, with Tapasvi Maharaj, we decided that we want to help solidify our ashram in Mayapur, so we want to during the great festivals of the year like the Vyasapuja of Gurudeva Atulananda and the Mela festival in October, to see if we can make a competition to see how much we can collect to expand a little more and preserve the beautiful corner called Jahnavi Kunja Gaudiya Math which is an oasis of our family in Sri Mayapur Dham. Soon we will share ideas and news about it. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, whose mercy permits us to be here one more day.
Goura Nitai Haribol!
Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti.
