Dear devotees,
In our SEVA meeting, Editorial Vaishnava Acharyas Service, I announced that 2015 our mission is the traditional mission of distributing literature and other spiritual messages published by SEVA and that myself could be a sankirtaneer promoting these materials. This begins now that we are in 2015.
The sankirtaneer is the heart of the movement of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, because he is situated at the lotus feet of Nityananda Gauranga, who are dancing around the world with Their harinam sankirtan which is the rasa lila of this era. And at the tip of the Lord's lotus feet is the sankirtaneer because when he is dancing, he is touching a person with the message of love, that's the point of GourNitai's dancing, that it touches people, where the souls are called to hear and become impressed with the message of Krishna, who is in their own heart.
The call of sankirtan devotee is to wake you up, so that with your human intelligence you see that you are not this material body but are an eternal spirit soul and have a mission full of love.
Similarly, the sankirtaneer also has a mission full of love and what is it? To distribute all the books and materials of seva. The sankirtaneer tells the person: My mission in this moment is to leave you well armed so you can defend yourself, because you are disarmed in the world of kali, you're lacking, which is a dangerous situation. So I bring you the Bhagavad Gita, Sri Isopanisad, we also have Andean music and varied musical styles.
Another important material is the DVD of organic ecological farms, as well as the Annual Vraja Mandal Parikram, this is a project in India from the Vrinda family, where we visit sacred sites and we help to clean beautiful places like Yamuna Kunja, Vamsi Kunja, Vrinda Kunja, while we sing, dance and are grateful for everything that comes into our life.
The sankirtaneer is armed, equipped and informed, and has all medicines in his arsenal, or at least has the catalog to take orders and save the contacts he makes. In actuality, the sankirtaneer can not carry all the materials, but he can have the list of all materials that Seva carries and knows each material.
Seva is dedicated to equipping devotees. No seva product was created with a commercial vision of selling something that people would like, and neither have we put naked women so that people look, no seva product has this content and end. We deliver the message of love, God's message of Truth.
The gift that the sankirtaneer has is paramount, and I want all of you to be equipped sankirtaneers. This is for all. No matter what you dedicate yourself to, the sankirtan is not just for brahmacaris who are dedicated to this all the time, the sankirtan is for everyone. We are sankirtaneers first. Any devotee can equip him(her)self and become a sankirtaneer that distribute what Prabhupada has given us. We have all these materials to establish our sincere, loving relationship with others, sankirtan is love in action.
The sankirtan mission is the most humble, the most tender, where the devotee only wants to reach the hearts of people. This is important when it is understood that devotees are brothers who are raising a familiar relationship in this world, with the heart message that we are children of Mother Earth, and that we are children of God and we have a relationship of love with Him.
I have done many things, I have worked and tried to have as much material as possible, so that even the most timid devotee of the world, can have a connection with preaching. Therefore we meditations of heart to heart, I don't think that most know that seva has this, a message that includes information on where we serve, which also allows the whole world to be happy with a Vedic mantra.
Soon we will be sharing the information to view online, but this is a sermon for the day and for all. With messages of faith, love, and protection for our Mother Earth.
We also need to distribute more Okis, we are in a campaign to change consciousness in the world. I hope you will all support me in this, with enthusiasm and hereafter that these messages are ready for sankirtan, to distribute and are in the sankirtan bags, not in the house. This becomes a habit and then we can reach more people.

Our family has entered a mature stage, where many pioneering projects have already been consolidated and expanded very efficiently.
Our Guru Maharaja spent 40 years preaching the message of Srila Prabhupada without stopping and 30 years of the Vrinda Family are the fruition of that tireless and loving preaching.
Our Guru Maharaja and our Gurudeva Atulananda have devoted much time and effort to serve Srila Prabhupada through their service to all mankind. The examples of the great Vaishnavas that we receive from the scriptures are present in the daily service of our Gurudevas. In them we see all the qualities of a devotee, without exception. They are the light that removes all traces of ignorance. They are the refuge that soothes the hearts of the devotees in difficult times.

Srila B. P. Puri Goswami Maharaj appeared in this world on a day like today, and His Vyasapuja is celebrated in every corner by members of different Vaishnava missions. He was the first president of the World Vaishnava Association, and that position he accepted with great humility following the request of our beloved Guru Maharaja. Our Guru Maharaja accepted Srila B. P. Puri Goswami Maharaj as his siksa guru after Srila Prabhupada's departure in 1977 and the departure of Srila Sridhar Maharaj in 1988.
Srila Guru Maharaj always shares very sweet pastimes about his relationship with Srila B.P. Puri Goswami Maharaj.One of them is the purchase of the Temple of Gopinath Gaudiya Math (the mission founded by Srila BP Puri Goswami Maharaj). Srila Puri Maharaj had been looking for a place for his temple in Vrindavan.
After Srila Guru Maharaj had bought Vrinda Kunja in the 90's, Srila BP Puri Goswami Maharaj approached our Gurudeva and asked him what he had done to get such a nice place so quickly, as he (Srila Puri Maharaj) had been looking for long. Srila Guru Maharaj told Srila Puri Maharaj that he had been trying several times to get places for a temple, but without any good results, until someone told him that for that to be effective, he would have to seek the blessings of Sri Gopesvara Mahadeva. So Srila Guru Maharaj followed the instruction as he was told and went to Sri Gopesvara Mahadev to ask for His blessing to find a place where the family could set Vrinda so to offer a humble service to the Dham and to the feet of Srila Prabhupada, Srila Sridhar Maharaj and all Vaishnavas.
Shortly after, Srila Guru Maharaj was walking through the market and a vrajavasi offered a land that day which later became the beautiful Vrinda Kunja, which today is the main temple of our family in Sri Vrindavan Dham.
Today, in the same "Dauji Mandir",the Vyasapuja of Srila BP Puri Goswami Maharaj was held and all the devotees from Vrinda Kunja were invited to participate in the festival. It was a very nice celebration, full of devotees from different missions of the Gaudiya Math and other Vaishnava sampradayas. Thanks to the mercy of our beloved spiritual master, our family members can participate in those beautiful celebrations that are a reflection of "unity in diversity" that characterizes the World Vaishnava Association.
Srila B. P. Puri Goswami Maharaj was a promoter of "unity in diversity", he agreed to become president of the WVA yet he said he did not feel qualified to be. And today, the WVA continues to work under the same slogan of bringing all the Vaishnavas together in order to create an open platform which can the support the preaching of Sanatan Dharma around the world. Once again, thanks to the mercy of our Gurudeva, Vrinda family members from around the world have been involved in various services offered to the feet of all the Vaishnavas.
For example, Saksi Gopal prabhu,who at the beginning of the World Vaishnava Association was responsible for organizing the melas and meetings in addition to printing several WVA publications. Bhagavatamrta prabhu from Colombia, Gour Kesava prabhu from Germany who to this day maintain the Vaishnava page news www.vina.cc and actively participates for many years in the publication of WVA magazines and books. Pancatattwa prabhu who has also spent several years maintaining web services and communications for the World Vaishnava Association. Arup Govinda Das from Mayapur, who has been a great reporter of events for the different Maths in India. BV Madhusudhan Maharaj from Ecuador, who was for years directing Vrinda Ashrams in India and supporting all WVA services. Dasavatar prabhu from Argentina who in recent years has been dedicated to maintaining the most visited page of the WVA called "News from the world from the perspective of the Vedas", which has been a service greatly celebrated by Srila Guru Maharaj. Prem Kumari dd from Brazil who, for some time, supports and participates in maintaining multiple web services in WVA. Dina Bandhu prabhu from Chile, who from Yamuna Kunja in India supports and participates in public relations with the various temples of the WVA. And so many devotees and mothers of our spiritual family who have had the opportunity to make designs for the WVA such as Sarasvati Dasi and Damodarastaka Dasi from Colombia, Brahma Samhita Das from Sweden, Tulsi Dasi from Bulgaria, Radhe Shyam Dasi from Australia, among others.
Currently, the WVA is hosting a new exhibition of the Museum of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Prabhupada, this time in Vrindavan during the month of Kartik. This exhibition is a humble offering to our spiritual master, to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Thakura's lotus feet, and all the Parampara of our line. For this exhibition, devotees and mothers of our family are actively involved. This exhibit was designed with the help of Vishvakarma prabhu and Stoka Krishna prabhu from Colombia, who are graphics experts. Sarasvati Dasi did all the research and compilation of pictures with the help of Brahma Samhita Das from Sweden who compiled the texts of each graph.Ramesvari Dasi from Peru revised and corrected each of the texts in English. And Mahatma prabhu along with the Vrinda Kunja team is organizing all the details of the exhibition which will be inaugurated on October 9 by the mercy of Srivatsa Goswami Maharaj, who is Acharya in service of the Sri Radha Gokulananda temple in Vrindavan.
So, devotees of our family have had (and still have) multiple opportunities to offer service at the feet of the Vaishnavas of different missions. All thanks to the mercy of our spiritual master, who is a faithful representative of the acharyas of the past. That is the characteristic of the Vrinda family: Being an instrument of service to mankind under the guidance of our Gurudevas; and it is thanks to them and their mercy, who teach us about the distribution of the message of love to all souls of Sri Caitanya; it is thanks to their mercy that we can celebrate together in the various temples the 30 years of life of VRINDA.
Now devotees gathered at the Mela are celebrating with great joy and many service plans, these 30 years.
As part of that celebration, yesterday at the Eco Truly Park it was launched the "Review of 30 years of Vrinda," which was the result of the unified effort of a group of devotees and mothers from different countries and it came out just a few days ago. The SEVAS managers will be making copies of this magazine to later distribute them to all the temples, then to be distributed to all family members and friends who want to know more about our Mission.
Along with the launch of the magazine, these days we inaugurated a new hall in Eco Truly Park called "The chacana" which aims to become a meeting and working place of UDSA (University of Ancestral Wisdom) which is quite q development project in which Srila Gurudeva is putting a lot of energy with the help of devotees from different countries. The UDSA's objective is to create an educational platform open to all people, where they can share traditional teachings of various ancestral people and cultures who share the same ideals of love and respect for all living entities, which are of the same ideals to those of the Vaishnava culture of India. Now the UDSA will have an important place in the Eco Truly Park in Peru, where you can strengthen your service to humanity.
At this time, Srila Guru Maharaj, Srila Gurudeva Atulananda and the devotees accompanying them are returning to Lima to celebrate Rasa Yatra along the streets of the capital of Peru. That is why Srila Guru Maharaj could not send his weekly message today and rather we have shared with you this little commemorative report of 30 years of VRINDA and it service to humanity. We also share with you that within the next few days Srila Guru Maharaj will be making his arrival in Vrindavan Dham alongside the company of Srila Gurudeva Atulananda, where they will also celebrate 30 years of the Vrinda family and 30 years of Vraja Mandal Parikram.
Devotees and mothers from Vrinda Kunja Ashram have been working hard in recent months for this celebration.
Already more than 100 devotees and mothers from our family have confirmed their participation during the parikrama, which is a great joy for the devotees who do service in Vrindavan Dhama.
Sixty devotees have already arrived at the Dhama from South America and in the coming days there will be more and more arriving. All of them are very happy to participate in this beautiful Vaishnava celebration. The home team will do their best to convey the daily morning conferences of our spiritual masters and to share every day the parikram nectar through photographic and video reports.

Aradhya prabhu: jay dandavats to all Gurumaharaj ki jay. Friday night Guru Maharaja arrived to bogota, more than 100 devotees where expecting him, he gave us a short class and shared some moments with us. The next morning he went to villa de leyva a traditional turistic town of boyaca where the mayor and local authorities gave him the keys of the city and named him honorable person for the city because of his ideals and different projects in benefit to mother nature, animals and human beings also for his contributions in education. There was a very nice ceremony where many kids received him with offerings and with emotional words from the mayor and from the people of town. Jagannath vallenato gave a show and later Srila Guru Maharaja dictated a lecture. The mayor committed himself to work in ecologic programs and agriculture alongside the support of Guru Maharaja.
In the afternoon Guru Maharaja and devotees went to visit the restaurant of Sevanandini mataji in the center of villa de leyva and then they went to the gurukula program whcih please Srila Guru Maharaja very much.
This is a center where there are 9 kids that receive spiritual education, they have all the installations adequate for them, after the lecture in the night Guru Maharaj guided a arati ceremony for the constellation of sapta rishi in the hot springs. The ceremony was decorated with many candles and every body committed themselves with vows to protection of mother earth now Guru maharaj is in seva bogota ,he will start with a meeting of seva office projects and then yatra projects.
Gurudeva emphasized that we need to give more attention to good nutrition, the importance of seed protection, growing organically and to listen to the voices of the farmers and natives so generations to come can have a future in this earth. At night when he gave the lecture how one should heal all bad relationships that may exist between devotees as well as with all living entities so we can work in harmony. He also spoke about the importance of education. It should not be based in the concepts of consumerism which society imposes us upon us but an education with values that really teaches children and young people how to live in a system
where many living entities live in harmony and everyone is respected. All the technology and media are constructing models for fooling young people and schooling is where these models are imposed, where consumerism is the most important, only a cheating system to enrich companies. The educational enterprises are involved in creating consumerism models and they utilize our information that we give them and they find our needs only for the purpose of enriching themselves. Now the meeting is going to start.

Dear devotees,
Please receive all my affection from Colombia. Today i send you a message from the center of operation, seva colombia, where we are discussing how to serve better Srila Prabhupada through the Vrinda family. The theme of today is very important: every act of our life should become an offering.
Somedays ago I was in contact with a native priest of South America that is an expert in offerings. She told me that the barriers that exist between a human being and the divinity will be trespassed through the act of offering in the form of sound in other words by songs. These offerings done with love and surrender to the divinity goes directly to the spiritual world. This is the power and the mystic of the divine sound, divine songs with divine messages that promote divine entertainment and offering is not something that is just repeated as if we were parrots, they are invocations full of spiritual meaning and as we invoke the spiritual master reciting his glorification mantra Om nitya lila pravistha om vishnupad paramahamsa parivrajakacarya Sri Srimad Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, ki jay... in this prayer I am asking for the blessing of Srila Prabhupada, i am saying : Prabhupada i am here , i am yours, i belong to you, i want to live for you and do what ever you want me to do. This is complete divine sound and the divine sound goes beyond the sky, beyond barriers of the mind, of intelligence and false ego, and it enters to the world of devotion.
The songs of our acaryas such as Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur are full of this divine sound and this divine meaning, imploring to the Supreme Lord for refuge and that we may give our heart completely. These prayers remove all the dirtiness of our interior world and all that is around us as well as that which keeps us away from Krsna, that is removed. All obstacles between you and God are strongly removed if you cry for mercy. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Srila Narottama Das Thakura are incredible examples. Each of their songs is a divine explosion of dedication and devotion. What we have to do is bring people the knowledge and understanding that God's love is the reality, that love for Sri Sri Radha Krsna is the Supreme reality, not this world of illusion, this is not the reality. What do you prefer? Is it your desire to be with the Supreme reality of love or the world of illusion ?

Krsna is the reality, we can listen from Him, we can worship Him, we can serve Him, we are connected with Him and with vrindavan through hearing and by chanting the holy names. Thus in the process of offering, of reciting divine sounds, we have to be very respectful and never commit offenses against devotees, an example is the pastime of the immolation of sati, the chaste wife of Siva. Even if you do great yajnas with all the brahminical procedures, nothing is succesful if you commit offenses against the devotees, take for example the prajapati daksa, a higher brahmana who committed offenses against Lord Siva. So we pray profoundly to Gopesvara Mahadev so he can save us from the offenses against devotees, we should never forget that we will die in any moment, so we have to remember the sweet name of Lord Krsna as our only hope. With this messsage i say goodbye to you so we can continue with our seva office meeting in bogota.

Today I want to talk about the importance of Vaishnava literature distribution.
It is not a new subject, but as one of the most important aspects of our sampradaya tradition, then it is worth repeating and remembering. If we go back in time, we will remember that even back to the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan the beginning of not just compiling Gaudiya Vaishnava literature, but promoting and distributing as well so that people could know the nectar of the Lilas and instructions of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu . Thus the distribution of Vaishnava literature is a tradition of our Parampara.
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur was more emphatic about it. Rather revolutionary. So much so that in the Gaudiya Math logo you can see a picture of a printing press, directly alongside other devotional items . This is because Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta called the press the "brihat mrdanga" that would allow the message of Sri Chaitanya to resonate and be distributed worldwide.
My own Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada was an excellent representative of his Gurudeva and he too wrote many books, and distributed it regardless of his advanced age. With His example He inspired His own disciples to distribute Vaishnava materials. Srila Prabhupada was the epitome of literature distribution. My Guru Maharaja, Srila Sridhar Maharaj told me that my service would be to print books ... so for my part I also received directly that instruction and that has become one of my main motivations. My insignificant persona has tried to print and distribute transcendental literature with the help of many dear Vaishnavas.
I request all the devotees to become part of this transcendental Vaishnava literature distribution celebration, wholeheartedly supporting the devotees who work in the SEVA offices and who are producing materials for distribution and are commited, take a vow to have absolutely every SEVA material in the temples, restaurants, preaching centers etc. Remember that the materials that are out of sight, are also out of mind. We should always be equipped with the entire range of SEVA materials such as the latest productions, DVDs, Music, etc.. In a sankirtaneer's bag all these materials should be there, plus many OKIS and "Messages from heart to heart" with an invitation to the local temple programs. We want to offer this to everyone who crosses our path.
In addition to the sankirtaneers, the showcases and receptions of all the temples should be filled with all the variety of materials we have. In my trip to Colombia, I visited some temples that didn't have sufficient samples of these materials. And neither a showcase ... But like everything he does Krsna is perfect; He helped to manifest a new tool for sankirtan that is of importance in distribution of transcendental literature. That's what I want to introduce today. It's called the Banner Man:
-The banner is a devout man who has built a showcase of SEVA, where there is a comprehensive selection of materials and conscious messages. The banner man has a speaker and a microphone, with which he invites people as follows: (banner man mantra).
"Welcome dear friend, we are on a path that needs solutions. We need answers, we need to solve problems. Here it is possible to find what you're looking for, you just need to come closer with full sincerity and the willingness to change what's necessary to be happy . Our service is to help. Come closer, we are your brethren who are in the same search, in the same situation of loneliness, pain, various shortcomings ... but we have experienced that there is something very big and beautiful and that is willing to intervene on your behalf. You just have to learn to call to it, to come close to the greatest love of your life.
My friend, I recommend that you read this literature, that you come to know the Vedic wisdom that solves all the problems; hear a lecture or meditation music, come to know Srila Prabhupada who gave us unimaginable knowledge about life and our responsibility for it; accept the invitation of God for all, where we are taught to approach Him. Dear friend, all this ancient knowledge that we received from Srila Prabhupada is embodied in these dvds, cds, and books, where you will find a wonderful message that will allow you to progress on the path of life. Brother, sister, come to learn about the sanctuaries that are waiting for your visit. The beautiful sanctuaries where you can purify yourself and have fun with something called "Superior Taste".
Try the delicious vegetarian food that has been offered to God, experience the chant, meditation on the Divine Names which changes awareness and elevates us to a wonderful destination. Friend, come, do not be hesitant. Know all this, guided by your own inner guidance; and you will realize that here is the message that was sent for you, for your current specific situation. You will find something valuable, a treasure, just inquire with your heart in your hands and allow your inner void to be filled with love, universal love, love for humanity, love for animals and Mother Earth, unconditional love. Love for love. Love for those you love.
That is the science of yoga, we grow in our sanctuaries and Eco Yoga villages. You can take courses in the Science of Yoga, you can participate in Yoga retreats enjoying a full weekend or a longer period of purification and healing. All this we come to offer, we have many materials so you can deeply soak yourself into, take a little time to inquire about the purpose of life, about the reason why we are here, about where your life is headed, about how we should behave to be truly happy.

That, my dear devotees, is the mantra of the banner man. It is a wonderful solution to Sankirtan. Today I want to talk about the importance of Vaishnava literature distribution.
It is not a new subject, but as one of the most important aspects of our sampradaya tradition, then it is worth repeating and remembering. If we go back in time, we will remember that even back to the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan the beginning of not just compiling Gaudiya Vaishnava literature, but promoting and distributing as well so that people could know the nectar of the Lilas and instructions of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu . Thus the distribution of Vaishnava literature is a tradition of our Parampara.
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur was more emphatic about it. Rather revolutionary. So much so that in the Gaudiya Math logo you can see a picture of a printing press, directly alongside other devotional items . This is because Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta called the press the "brihat mrdanga" that would allow the message of Sri Chaitanya to resonate and be distributed worldwide.
My own Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada was an excellent representative of his Gurudeva and he too wrote many books, and distributed it regardless of his advanced age. With His example He inspired His own disciples to distribute Vaishnava materials. Srila Prabhupada was the epitome of literature distribution. My Guru Maharaja, Srila Sridhar Maharaj told me that my service would be to print books ... so for my part I also received directly that instruction and that has become one of my main motivations. My insignificant persona has tried to print and distribute transcendental literature with the help of many dear Vaishnavas.
I request all the devotees to become part of this transcendental Vaishnava literature distribution celebration, wholeheartedly supporting the devotees who work in the SEVA offices and who are producing materials for distribution and are commited, take a vow to have absolutely every SEVA material in the temples, restaurants, preaching centers etc. Remember that the materials that are out of sight, are also out of mind. We should always be equipped with the entire range of SEVA materials such as the latest productions, DVDs, Music, etc.. In a sankirtaneer's bag all these materials should be there, plus many OKIS and "Messages from heart to heart" with an invitation to the local temple programs. We want to offer this to everyone who crosses our path.In addition to the sankirtaneers, the showcases and receptions of all the temples should be filled with all the variety of materials we have. In my trip to Colombia, I visited some temples that didn't have sufficient samples of these materials. And neither a showcase ... But like everything he does Krsna is perfect; He helped to manifest a new tool for sankirtan that is of importance in distribution of transcendental literature. That's what I want to introduce today. It's called the Banner Man:
-The banner is a devout man who has built a showcase of SEVA, where there is a comprehensive selection of materials and conscious messages. The banner man has a speaker and a microphone, with which he invites people as follows: (banner man mantra).
"Welcome dear friend, we are on a path that needs solutions. We need answers, we need to solve problems. Here it is possible to find what you're looking for, you just need to come closer with full sincerity and the willingness to change what's necessary to be happy . Our service is to help. Come closer, we are your brethren who are in the same search, in the same situation of loneliness, pain, various shortcomings ... but we have experienced that there is something very big and beautiful and that is willing to intervene on your behalf. You just have to learn to call to it, to come close to the greatest love of your life.
My friend, I recommend that you read this literature, that you come to know the Vedic wisdom that solves all the problems; hear a lecture or meditation music, come to know Srila Prabhupada who gave us unimaginable knowledge about life and our responsibility for it; accept the invitation of God for all, where we are taught to approach Him. Dear friend, all this ancient knowledge that we received from Srila Prabhupada is embodied in these dvds, cds, and books, where you will find a wonderful message that will allow you to progress on the path of life. Brother, sister, come to learn about the sanctuaries that are waiting for your visit. The beautiful sanctuaries where you can purify yourself and have fun with something called "Superior Taste".
Try the delicious vegetarian food that has been offered to God, experience the chant, meditation on the Divine Names which changes awareness and elevates us to a wonderful destination. Friend, come, do not be hesitant. Know all this, guided by your own inner guidance; and you will realize that here is the message that was sent for you, for your current specific situation. You will find something valuable, a treasure, just inquire with your heart in your hands and allow your inner void to be filled with love, universal love, love for humanity, love for animals and Mother Earth, unconditional love. Love for love. Love for those you love.

How to Become a True Disciple From Vrindavan Ecological Gardens Ecuador 6/23/13

Accept my affection from Vrindavan in Ecuador. A paradise of Mahaprabhu in the jungle. I send my prayers for you welfare in every sense of the word.
We had very nice days with the devotees of Ecuador. Good leadership seminars and a super seminar for families in Krishna Consciousness, organized by Mriganath prabhu.
Today I want to talk about a recurring theme in spiritual life. Especially when the preaching starts to grow and new members arrive at the temple. The issue is about how to become a teacher of others, but without ceasing to be a disciple. That is an essential secret of spiritual life. Here we test the true understanding of the practitioner. The condition of the preacher is rather delicate, even more delicate than that of a surgeon who has the lives of many in his hands. A preacher does not "become one" with his preaching alone, but rather by their actions. A preacher speaks not only of philosophy, but practical application; A preacher must become a living example, someone exemplary 24 hours a day, for preaching means caring for people with sincerity ... not just learning a few verses of scripture. A disciple becomes a master, when he shares with others what he has learned and takes responsibility to become a serious practitioner and strives to give an example of what he is preaching.
Srila Prabhupada teaches us to love all beings and bring them to Krishna Consciousness, therefore becoming a teacher means to follow the example of Srila Prabhupada. The preachers of Mahaprabhu's sankirtan movement are the true revolutionaries of this Age. Sri Caitanya himself started this revolution. A clear example of this is the pastime of Mahaprabhu with Chand Kasi, who wanted to end the Harinam-sankirtan of devotees and ended becoming a bhakta himself. Imagine thousands of devotees with torches chanting the Holy Names of the Lord, heading towards Kasi, led by the Lord Himself ... a moving image. Imagine something like that in South America ... a revolution of the Holy Name. That is what the preachers who go out every day do, carrying the sankirtan SEVA materials to all the suffering souls ... they really take one of the flaming torches of Sri Caitanya, to free others from the darkness.
So, then why not say that they are true masters? Of course as long as they fight and act accordingly to what they are preaching. It is useless to be a preacher who in their private life is lazy, sleepy or just pleases his senses. So back to the beginning question of the chat: how do you become a teacher while being a disciple?
-As a disciple one should always remember his Gurudeva. In the role of teacher, the devotee must be a brave representative, but in the role of disciple one always feels like a fool in front of his Guru. If the preacher is not really surrendered to his Guru, then all his preaching becomes a farce. That test of sincerity is presented each time. You feel incapable to take up the service of guiding others, but only by being following the instructions of the spiritual master, he manifests and one becomes capable of such service. For me it's very special to keep in touch with all of you always, when we meet on my visits to the temples, when I write an email, when you read my messages of the Sunday Chats. Do you know why? Because even though you may not know, you are the representatives of Srila Prabhupada. You make me feel the living presence of my spiritual master.
Srila Prabhupada invited us to this family. It is thanks to him that each of us are here. And thanks to each of you that I can remember and serve Srila Prabhupada every day. Srila Prabhupada left us a very high goal, but it was very demanding for our own benefit. Also, you help me be consistent. In this way I feel compelled by your love in representing my teacher in the best way possible to all of you, even if it is very difficult.
I do not know how. All I know is I'm longing to serve my Gurudeva wholeheartedly. The material energy puts difficulties before us, but the love of Srila Prabhupada and every one of you continues to maintain my life air and allows Hari-katha to remain as my only reason to exist. So, I can confess that the only thing of Guru in me is the infinite grace of Prabhupada who took over my life and put me in touch with all of you who thirst to serve the Truth. They are my saviors and my true friends. So my dear, we turn back to ask: How to become a disciple of truth? Just by following the Guru and being freely available.
- Free disposal means available to others at any time, without reward, without enjoying the benefits, no private life ... As an emergency physician ... they are always available for any emergency. We aspire to become doctors of the soul ... emergency doctors of souls waiting for the medicine of the Holy Name.
Sadhana, daily practice, the chanting of the Holy Name and preaching are the tools that allow us to develop this desire to serve unconditionally, to serve with determination. Remember remunerated service is not service, the devotee does their service without expecting any reward ... and if something comes, use it for the service of Krishna. Many souls are looking to bargain with God, but the true disciple does not seek this, only seeks to serve humbly. Charitable suicide: die from material life, but live to serve all the time ... day and night. That is our aspiration. That is consciousness of Vrindavan.
We're part of the squad of Mahaprabhu. People think that acting this way one will lose some, of course ... Material sense gratification is lost ... worldly fun is lost, but people do not know that if they do not change the direction of their life soon, they will also lose the human lifestyle. So instead of sticking to service they are born life after life ... and again chewing the chewed. What lamentation! Therefore, a devotee should be very compassionate to the suffering souls, because they understand that the root of suffering is ignorance, and armed with the torchlight of the revolutionary movement of Mahaprabhu's sankirtan, bring the knowledge that will remove the darkness .
Learning to preach is a training course in learning to truly love. Learn to have true compassion.Dedicate yourself to the right agent. Having wonderful programs that people come to know about the science of the soul. Keep the temples transparent, welcoming and very well organized, where each of the members feel they can give the best of themselves for the development of the community ...
Just as our Gurudeva has been compassionate and caring and made each of his disciples feel as the dearest and most important to him, in the same way we must act and show compassion to those around us. So the preacher should make everyone feel very welcome, and we must learn to listen to people and convey that which Srila Prabhupada taught us.
The preacher's work is sometimes a bit hard and bothersome ... clearly, bothersome to our false ego and our laziness, because we are so conditioned that we have come to see with indifference the suffering of others. However, in preaching, one realizes the true state of human suffering, the suffering of the soul. Just becoming a true disciple, a true preacher, you become a teacher. Just preaching, preaching and preaching ... and practicing, practicing, practicing. One who craves more devotion must remember that you will find it in the preaching and practice. The more you preach and the more you practice the more precise you are, the cleaner you become, a better worker ... you come closer to the nature of devotion.
There in daily practice, is the real ecstasy. Sustainable spiritual life is a life of compassion and dedication. In this way it is impossible to get discouraged. Without compassion enthusiasm will leave quickly ... Without compassion we do not even have the capacity to be lifted up. But if in your mind lives the 5, 10, 100 or whatever the number may be of people that is in your care, then there is no reason to get discouraged or bored at any moment. He who does not feel anything for another does not understand their Guru ... what to say about understanding Srila Prabhupada or all of our preceptors.
If you do not understand this much less understand the reason why you are in the process of Krishna Consciousness,,, The Supreme Lord is called Dina bandhu, the friend of the Fallen, the afflicted ... well, the devotees of Lord Krishna should also become friends of the afflicted ... Helping others and do not take advantage of them. Who wants to take advantage of others is not a preacher at heart. However he who wants to open his heart to others 100 percent, who wants to give his heart for the love of the truth, that's a perfect preacher. Give the best of each of you ... that's the secret. And that's what I want for each of you: to be able to give the best of yourselves.
