BECOMING PASSIONATE FOR SERVICE

Conferencing from Chacra y Mar, Peru, Eco Truly Park

Today I want to glorify all the great devotees whom dedicate their lives in service to Krsna.

Meditating on the degrees of dedication to spiritual life, you know, all devotees of Krsna are marvelous, well the mere fact that they don’t eat fish, meat, or eggs make them semi-heroes in this material world. At least, heroes for the animals and those who make any animal suffer by their own fault, they are not heroes, and they are to blame. Apart from that, devotees don’t destroy their bodies with drugs and even more so the devotees respect women, men, and mothers. A respectable attitude, however even following the regulative principles does not necessarily bring advancement. For one to advance in devotion it depends upon the intensity in their devotional service up to the point that there service is a reality. How much of dedication is within you the thermometer of bhakti then moves accordingly.

Srila Haridas Thakura was fully absorbed in Krsna. He sang without fatigue the names of Krsna twenty four hours. Is it that service can be measured by the hours or by the intensity, zeal, or degree of longing? Yes, in the degree of care towards dedication because in the world there are people who are very loving like the hostesses, but they must be amiable, if not they lose their job, but this isn’t a profound job. However, profound in Vaishnava treatment, meaning devoted to the well wishing of others.

A perfect example would be someone who does sankirtan. A true sankirtaneer goes out every day to preach to lift the spirits of the people and inform them about the meaning of life. They don’t do something for themselves and they are dedicating in becoming involved with others. They are sensible and sympathetic to other. If this is your case , you realize that you have a big problem.

In essence, your spiritual advancement depends on your intensity in assuming responsibility and achieving goals. You must assume responsibility and something divine will happen. Krsna is very tricky and naughty. When the devotee is falling into the routine like saying Krsna ki jay, vaisnava vanca kalpa, but there is no humane warmth, quality in relations, dedication, there is nothing that moves the heart, then Krsna is absent until the devotee realizes that he is in that very routine. Then at that point he says, I’m in the routine and there is no passion. One must work harder and find motivation. It is like when someone says I love you but then one does not know in what context it was said. I love you a lot, a little, nothing. In the same way, Krsna wants that you have a strong passion in adoration, passion in devotion, like the devotees of colon, who are passionately working for the temple. We can see that in their service. There are six devotees passionately working and there are twelve in contemplation. In that contemplative mode there is not much advancement. Krsna is impassioned; he makes traps, breaks his promise, and does trickery. Through His passion he is always involved in some kind of mess. Passion is a natural conviction because it cannot be imitated, one feels it or doesn’t.

One remembers in sakirtan, at times three hours passed and you didn’t see anyone. It is clear that one can fall into desperation even to the point where we forget about Krsna and do not distribute. One must think of Krsna at all times, offering his service to Krsna. I told Him, “Krishna, forgive me for not thinking about you. At that point I started to sell something, it was not that I had the key, the pin, something automatic to sell something. I just had the determination not to reach the temple without selling anything.” That was all he had and wanted to offer something to Krishna. So I know that when Krishna wants something, everything comes out perfect. He does the impossible. I realized this yesterday because 15 years ago I went to Bolivia and Sridhar Prabhu was living where the wind makes the curve. Very difficult to reach and if I wanted to preach we had to buy a house in downtown La Paz. We look at the newspaper and saw some sites.

Then we decided on a site near the main square, but on the way there the taxi failed. So we had to walk a lot and getting a person I touch my shoulder and said you have something to do with Swami Srila Prabhupada, and I said, yes I am his disciple, and he said to me some years ago I received a book by him at the airport. Then he asked what I was doing there and I said I wanted a place to preach so he offered me his luxury hotel. It was Don Mario the gentleman who offered us several times to preach hotel.

Yesterday, Bhima Prabhu from Bolivia gave us a big surprise. She found a temple for Gauranga Radha Raman in the plaza square. I'm dancing for joy at this news. That is the desire, the enthusiasm to do something for Radha Raman and so things arise that are not normal. For about two weeks ago this week by Bhima was with her 5 year old son, Narayan. The dad thought, look at your son he is asking you that, I want to have a temple for Sri Sri Radha Raman. The little boy, five years old, and said your wish will be granted. And a week after that, the signature on this block is a house of five floors, a hotel, four shops conveniently located for all, now I do not know what was all this. If Krishna, Vishnu, Govinda, Radha Raman same or paramatma, but they are key moments in life.

This conversation reveals so much passion between a father and son, normal conversation would be the child asking for ice cream and dad would say, no son ice cream has a lot of white sugar. So this conversation was unprecedented, this house of Radha Raman back in Bolivia is a wonder to the sermon, there are mutual reciprocations of passions. Our passions Krishna reciprocates, but then to have passions, one cannot be gotten into things with projects, plans long and short term, one cannot be bored, because this way Krsna will not manifest. Now you must understand that Krsna is always there because without Krsna there is no life in the body, no nothing.

Among my passions, I have a passion, it's called preaching in La Merced in Mexico, we have a super temple there, which is functional, dynamic, and now a devout disciple of mine told me that they just got a house in La Merced. This is a place where all groceries are sold in the city, where every kind of plate is sold, everything. The place can be half ugly as there are many beggars, prostitutes, and everyone goes there because everyone wants to buy food, many animals are dead. La Merced is great because imagine, in addition to feeding 25 million people in Mexico City, while I was there I said let's see, let's go look, and while there I could not believe it, and this house is very large, preaches a room at the entrance, has an office, an apartment on the second floor. Seeing this place, I thought what can we do here? And we have good people, the temple; we just have to do it.

So, back to topic: For me, this is a passion, the passion of how to increase Lord Caitanya’s preaching. People in the market do what they want, the real world is crazy, imagine it's almost beside the slaughterhouse, they’re selling millions of animals every day, and now Hare Krishna devotees singing there is a passion for my life to see the devotees struggling, overcoming, publishing books, making things, this is truly spectacular. To me, I am passionate seeing the devotees, seeing the devotees and their determination to do things, that's unbelievable, their capacity, their quality, caring, and I tell you, when you are passionate about something is when Krishna manifests, so the bottom line is, whatever it is that makes you passionate therefore, do well, very well, sweating, and we know this is difficult, is not automatic, passion is a special gift, because this allows the self disappears.

There are people who are passionate about climbing a mountain, and this is only for the eyes, and good for the body as well, and after reaching the top thinking now I have to go down, and mountain climbing also cannot be drawn up without a photo ... One can be passionate for silly things, Krsna is often reflected in the satisfaction of the desires of people but it is Durga who manifests, not Krsna. Krsna manifests when he is conquered, when he feels like his can do anything for him. You are all very special manisfestations, so that someone who decides to surrender to Krsna, that is something very special, that's very beautiful and pure, something extraordinary.

We are all miracles, saved from something fishy and this was Krsna's passion for you, and perhaps in part a passion of yours for Truth, a passion for purification. If at this point, we confess who here has been rescued it will be many. Look at the trend of all types of addictions one can easily lose themselves in it, and truth is lost.

I like becoming impassioned, I like becoming impassioned in Bolivia, like when passing through the Titicaca there, and there the Transcendental Andean Pact was founded. although not all taken into account, but this is a momentous celebration of the Andean Pact in also the change of name from Latin, Latin momentous agreement, it is a very big deal for a very pure profit for the continent.

Then, there in Bolivia, I am impassioned and I told Bhima, we get an island, and he likes tough challenges, then he worked on that, and look Krsna gave us this sacred spot called Shanti Dwipa, and now we must give a service to this place, and there also exist Trulys, there is much service to do.

If you wish, you can also become excited with the things I’m passionate about. Look, I tell you: I encourage you to do things that are not material and are beyond the concept of self, my and mine. To me, I do not like that; you can have responsibilities and say: it is my duty, but one cannot say that something is yours, because at death none of it goes with us. At death, the cremation, the person is ashes and if it is not ash body is food for worms. The reality is that one must be passionate for Goloka Vrindavan, one has a passion for the eternal consciousness. Or do you want to be passionate by the applause of people, for the applause of politicians, by the applause of people who know nothing; more so, the applause comes only from those who can make something out of you, a selfish interest. What applies here is, tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are.

This is something which I recommend passion for, be passionate about service to Krsna, but do not worry about looking for something big, because with big things one comes into troubles. For this you must pray more and trinad api sunicena, sing it without ego, thinking about things that you do not need. Krsna loves those who are humble and those who are not screaming, demanding things. When you cry from the heart Krsna is very close to you and that is guaranteed. One cannot believe the title you have. One cannot think that is something, is dangerous; there are dangerous things like having the title of Maharaj. When Hanuman has to jump to Sri Lanka, the jumps of mountains and hills is unlimited service, but there is also the only person who complains when he has to jump, the service with passion is a gift, not something I can strive, but I can ask in my heart what can I do here, how to improve things.

For example, in Colombia I'm waiting to be passionate about yoga planetarium, because I am passionate but I cannot passionate alone. If you are passionate about something means that you will get all the energy to do so, any way you can you will do. For example I myself did not know how to make a truly. Look at the devotees in Peru, when I saw this mountain and I said this mountain is missing something, it lacks a truly over it. And I talked to Tapasvi Mahara, Pancatattwa Prabhu, Prapana Prabhu, and I had to encourage them to this idea. Imagine lifting materials of construction up a mountain, so much work, just imagine all alone with nothing coming up in the hands that is a tremendous task, but we fell in love with the idea of wanting to have a truly there and through our passion we achieved it. Many people are truly responsible for this material, and this beauty is the emblem of the sector, and this is what is called in english Land Mark, it is what stands out and characterizes the sector, and alsoI got permission from the municipality to do so, this is passion for Krsna.

The idea of Eco Truly Park, born in Germany in 1986 or so, we were devotees at a meeting between artists and there the decision to build the school, harmony of conscious art and we would use this paradigm to speak to the world as concerned artist on welfare, and this time I had been thinking, what will we do at all the different eco villages, conscious art centers. How to bring people to come to work in our land, and it originated there, and then Vamsi prabhu $ 5000 and here I thought what do we do now, and saw the Peruvians and how they lived in the center of Lima, it was terrible, an ugly industry.

I felt very guilty and they needed a place to go after Lima. The first option we had was Chilca, but there something went wrong and we failed. Then we find a fisherman who had this land and when we bought it, it all started but in Germany we thought about artistic sites. We didn’t want a place where you come and see a stupid stick, but someone with vision, put him there with a specific sentiment and now it's a statue. For example here we will open the square of humility which came from India, and it will be one of the hooks, a tremendous hook of Eco Truly Park.

I’m going to let Gurudev Atulananda to give a few words.

Gurudeva Atulananda:

Without doubt, wanting to serve Krsna is a great benediction, that is why we sing Hare Krsna. Krsna blesses us. Srila Sridhar Maharaj says: the highest for the highest sacrifice. Go to Atmanivedana, it is like the heart of Gadadhar Pandit, like it was stolen from Radharani, Krsna always wants to steal, Krsna wants to steal your heart, and that is our hope, everything is the grace of Krishna.

Bhakti is beautifying our heart; one who is dedicated to bhakti, your heart will be filled with qualities. A heart that is going to be increasingly desirable and irresistible to Sri Krsna, sometimes even loving Krsna it is hard to give to Him, but nonetheless Krsna comes and steals our hearts when we are stripped.

Guru Maharaj:

I want to say something more. One very important thing about passions is that one can be excited but not angry with those who are not passionate. One should not be unmotivated either. One must be passionate about relationships also take responsibility with other devotees and encourage that's fine, but you cannot get angry. If you are a leader much less, you just have to animate. As a service leader, siksa guru, your duty is to encourage others not to be angry about the limitations of others; you do not have this right. When you get angry with someone you also become discourage, that's called boomerang. A person who is angry with others instead of encouraging becomes discouraged, because it is self defeating and that is the opposite of passion, you're burned out, tired.

Well, I would like to send more messages to this wonderful mela chat every Sunday. I thank all those of who put passion into this Sunday Chat. Now we will continue our festival here. Srila Prabhupada Ki Jay, Haribol.

Your always well-wisher

Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti.

Keep Moving Forward 9/18/2011

Please accept my humble obeisance’s, All Glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gouranga, His Divine Grace is giving his wonderful benedictions to our brothers and sisters in Chile. The devotees of the Chilean office have arranged everything for this Sunday’s chat in order to give us Gurudev's enlightening message. We appreciate the effort that every devotee is making to connect with Gurudev and his message

Dear Devotees, Greetings from Eka Chakra, Chile,

Devotees are extraordinary beings and that is why we love sadhus with all their faults because they are of devotional nature. Of course, there is no need to wrongfully interpret this; I’m not trying to give a minimized justification to negligence because the struggle is internal. Each and everyone struggles to progress and go to mangala artik everyday that is already an overcoming yogic feat but it is personal when the devotees have setbacks. In reality those are moments of reflection that can push one to find refuge in spiritual practice, so in fact it’s not bad. What a devotee values in life is not really valued in the material world for example to follow the regulative principles, abstinence, control of the sense, but in the material world it’s rare that someone doesn’t accept a cup of beer. And perhaps a person looking to get out of this world, doing their best effort has a debilitating moment and falls. For example if you drink a beer visiting the family etc. it’s a fall from an orthodox view within the platform of following vows but it doesn’t make one a bad person for others. It only shows us that we can be weak against the material nature but one faulty error doesn’t make us any less spiritually potent. We can actually learn from it and progress always and especially when it’s something you're not repeating intentionally outside of your control and sincerity. What I want to emphasize in this context is that a devotee, including those who may commit error is a good person none the less and he is a good person for others.

In your personal life you still have to polish things but in your duty to others, you are a well wisher a devotee doesn’t do any wrong for animals or mother earth. What is to say if someone puts forth effort and takes responsibility in their seva to their spiritual master? That is showing their fight with their internal propensities

Although to commit mistakes and continue to go into material world to continue to commit such mistakes is not very intelligent and is less helpful to you. A devotee is however in a superior position, fighting to correct his own faults in a kirtan, in a class, in his chanting, in his seva it’s a positive struggle. Including a fallen devotee, doesn’t live his life bitter over his fall or criticizing the fall of others. Before coming into Krsna consciousness you already had many failures and falls and you still may have to touch the floor, more so when one is proud, but get up and keep fighting

that is the advice of this philosophy.

We still cannot forget about the bathing of the elephant and we cannot stay in that routine. What our teachers suggest is different, it is called mercy, it is called opportunities and that is why initiation is a second birth.

One time a very comical man gave me an instruction. I was at the point of buying very beautiful land, big, situated near the city but I was lacking Laksmi so then we went to the Hindus and found a large an amount of Laksmi

and selling the land were nuns. When we arrived to do the papers, came out a colonel. After paying I had no idea what to do. When I was returning to temple a true paradise appeared and crazy enough I stopped and I asked who the owner was. Mr. Emoc, a rich man who bought all the forest of panama and who lived up in a zoo. I told myself I’m going to speak with him. I was in dhoti, and a woman came out to receive me. We went in and in a wheelchair there was an old man surrounded by young women in the middle of a zoo. He told me "what do you want?” And I treated him as if he was a senior devotee and I told him my sad story and that I had complicated myself with the land that I couldn’t buy from the nuns. After telling him the story, he said he learned from his dad, "what do you do when you fall off the horse? Do you stay on the floor or do you get back up on the horse? He asked, "What are you going to do?" And I told him, "I want to buy your land", but he said, "My land costs more". Then I said, "But I only have 10,000 dollars". He said, "I like your attitude", and later said, "I’ll sell it to you for 100,000 dollars, you give me what you have, and the rest you pay within 10 years" and he said, "come tomorrow”. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, Mr. Emoc wanted to help me and sell his paradise that he had, the rest of the story is not so important

One has to get up, whatever happens despite anything that may occur so the papers were signed that Monday, and when it was time for Mr.Emoc to notarize the papers, he was in the hospital. He was very sick and was taking bath water of the deities and was hearing from Srila Prabhupada and he did a service to the devotees. Something good came from Krsna by his desire to serve and that’s how he left this world. Later on, the daughter didn’t recognize the contract her dad made. She didn’t accept, "go pick up your money", she said. And then I was left on the floor for a second time. Later on we bought a house for Krsna that was nothing like the paradise territory but that is life

you have to get up despite all odds.

You must continue in the direction of your ideals. There’s moments that seem like you can’t continue any longer, but that’s not true, life is chapter after chapter until eternity. With whom do you want to find yourself after death? Hitler, Stalin, Pinocchio? Imagine, we don’t have another option, we have to keep moving forward until perfection, you have to keep on the path, whatever may happen, without arms or hands like a snake, you have to keep going, and every movement has its destiny. A devotee is he who always is going to give you a hand. He will never deny his hand. He will always help you to move forward, to help you up, and to instill enthusiasm in you to continue in this tremendous path. In spiritual life you have to find that which makes you eternal, surrender my friend, you already are eternal. There is nothing to do with that, but the eternality that is missing is eternal bliss, where you develop you infinite potential. It’s not sufficient in just being an eternal being. Develop eka chakra. Eternally we want to continue our ecological fame. Do not building too many houses, better to open up more houses spaced out over different places. We don’t want to be another Santiago filled with vaisnavas with metro and everything else. It’s better to have places where we find tents, there are no problems. In reality there is never any problem that only comes from our demented minds. In reality our lives is a life is a life of service to our own ideals and our own ideals are the search for purity and to be out of the mode of contamination and conditioning. Now, regrettably, we are contaminated souls, but the process of bhakti yoga, cleanses the heart, cleanses your life. If today you are less in the mode of tamasik, rajasik, it is because of the devotees. Devotees by nature are not inconsiderate. They are friends of others, well wishers of the devotees, to residents, to everyone. That is why it’s important to live with devotees. The nature of a devotee is to be a well wisher, he wants nothing of nothing, or wants service in proportional form, he wants everything for everyone else, even a materialistic desire Krsna will arrange and give you. He is married to the goddess of fortune. You think Krsna has a problem giving you an IPOD? Or land? Read the news, recently they found a wall that could have been a hidden door; there they found a treasure so big that never in history was it found that metal was valued at 12 billion, hidden in India by the Englishmen, three hundred years ago. The treasure was astonishing. Stored underneath the temple were deities of Lord Visnu. We don’t even have that problem, we don’t even use real jewelry for the deities, if we did we would have robbery problems because that’s how it was before. What do we want jewelry for if it isn’t even for Krsna? Krsna has unlimited infinite opulence’s, galaxies, novas, etc. your house is nothing in comparison. if you have material desires, Krsna will give them to you, but how much of that will you have in eternity?

The devotees see krsna everywhere and they become happy. They do beautiful things while they can, look at the famous Chacra and ocean. Even though one thinks in only making a mud house in front of the ocean, well you know, constructing mud houses in front of the ocean, Krsna inspired this. And now we have it beautifully in front of the ocean. We even have photos even if it disappears. We have a nice memory. I thought about it a lot and decided that it is something in glorification of Krsna. That is how life is, if the ocean takes the house, that’s how it is, like your body. The important thing is doing something nice for Krsna. When the vaisnavas do something that is something that continues to stay even after we are gone. Or we simply come back to continue with that seva. Vrinda Devi does beautiful things even more beautiful than the day before. What I admire in the dress of the deity is the love that was put into making it. What distinguishes everything is love. The garland, the altar, the bhajan, the love of the devotee that wants to sing beautiful songs for Krsna, that’s love.

Children are made into zombies by the television, stupidity comes from television it is no joke. Its proven so many times that TV takes away your creative ability, leaving people in a catastrophic state. However, Krsna has given us so much opportunity to become involved. The involvement and opportunities within Krsna consciousness are so beautiful and we want 50, 500, no 5 million sannyasis dedicating themselves to the betterment of others. When I was in the Nevada Mountain with the Arawaks it was such an illuminating visit. They are beautiful people with an environment and modality that have existed for the last four thousand years without arms or without desire for money. They live preoccupied and worried for mother earth. Devotees go over there to enrich themselves internally and to learn how to make other happy. The devotee doesn’t even live so focused in the territorial. He lives in what he always wants to do, look at our philosophy. We are so crazy that we want to continue associating in the next life and it is not impossible, if we want we can all go to Goloka Vrindavan. If each one of you follows your path of love, surely you will see. Each one of you is a beautiful individual because the Lord made you beautiful. Everything we have, everything we achieve is because of the mercy of Sri Krsna. He gets the credit. Nothing was made just like that, to think like this is ridiculous. You haven’t even made your own hair that’s on your head. Krsna's design is so interesting, everything is perfect, and there is no need to complain. Each and everyone is the maker for their own fortune. Everyone has developed their own karma, but it’s only a temporary panoramic view we have here.

Why do I want to meet with you all life after life? Because from the beginning that I knew you, I had a good feeling and I never liked the idea of never seeing you again. To never see Atreya again is a gift from Krsna. Be thankful that the others exist. This is true love when you cannot live without devotees and when you want to live with Krsna, the only place where we can be together. It is a good desire and when it is strong, Krsna will grant that because Krsna too has that same desire to see us. That is why He expands Himself as Paramatma in each of us. Poor Krsna, how much patience He has in being in the heart of Hitler. Krsna has so much love that He accompanies us even in the moment of degradation. Ultimately we are on the stage at the grand theatre, at time the theatre of creativity, of love, of lust. There are different scenarios. For example, the love of a mother for her son is eternal because it is not contaminated, it is an unconditional love. Krsna’s love for the gopis is eternal; no one will ever separate them. Krsna is attached to his eternal relationships. Love is the criterion and that love is so great that you can celebrate it within a community of people whom love one other. We are very happy within people who love each other when there is success, of each thing, of each person, each project. It is better said that if you all are not relatively happy then I will be a bit worried. That is why we have to console one another and dry the tears of all. That is life, it’s not pure ghee every day. There are inundations, just look at Krsna lila, forest fires, demons, trees, demoniac birds. Sri Krsna arranges everything. For his devotees Krsna will do anything.

What is Srimad Bhagavatam? It’s a history of love, of intense love like Krsna’s happiness with mother Yasoda. If we take him away there would be problems. There is mischeviousness to love. The gopis do anything they can to make Krsna happy. Mother Yasoda comes to complain. It is better said, Vrindavan is very much in love with Krsna. The monkeys, peacocks, bees sing of the glories of Krsna and the parrots, the trees, even the bamboo. There are commentaries concerning the bamboo. How is it possible that Krsna kisses a bamboo if it is only a stick? That is what they are speaking of. The land of Vrindavan shivers and faints from ecstasy just like the air, the clouds, everything there is conscious full of love. What to speak of the love of the gopis? Krsna becomes completely restless over the love of Srimati Radharani. She says, “this Krsna gives me a headache.”

Vrindava is Eka Chakra and is everywhere that devotees are. The devotees always want to live in Vrindavan. They are so attached and that for me is the maximum satisfaction. When I go over there I’m always with them too because love is not limited. It is not restricted and its not even minutely obstructed by something material. Nothing can stop our love. Maya is always putting things in our way but we will not permit this and we are going to see how the whole world comes to Krsna. This is the heart of the devotees and I don’t conceive it differently because different would be indifferent.

It would be impersonal. In the effulgence of Brahman we would not realize who is who and who is there and who isn’t there. That’s a bit boring. Krsna made something so personal because the only thing one does is greet people in Eka Chakra. Therefore, because of the principle of the heart, our well wisher Sri Krsna will never abandon us. And within each other we also will not abandon one another. That is the duty Krsna gives his devotees and that is why we go do sankirtan. We do sankirtan to look for our family, brothers, sisters who are lost with a bottle of wine in their hand, forgetting about the divine love that awaits them.

So I finish my message like this today. Many beautiful words and wishes. These concepts are elevated and I am grateful to Krsna who made everything so personal. He is a jeweler who makes everything brilliant and each soul is brilliant. Krsna did not make anyone with a dimming nature to only create minimal illumination. Each one of you is a marvel of Krsna and we have to discover that within us for our own good and the good of others. We should demonstrate our brilliance not our grudges, not our egos; it is our brilliance which is what we are generally looking for. The biggest wonder is that of surrender, surrender to Krsna without caring about our impurities. Although we are very unqualified we should put the effort in obtaining Krsna. That is the correct inspiration and we all have this wondrous right. Not only sannyasis or spiritual masters, they are there to inspire. That is life; the spiritual world of Vrindavan comes when we surrender to Sri Krsna. To the extent of our surrender to that same extent we become closer to Krsna. By the grace of Krsna and our Gurus we can always do seva and offer something beautiful. We have that opportunity and it is a marvelous opportunity. Haribol. Srila Prabhupada Ki Jay.

Your ever well wisher,

Swami B.A. Paramadvaiti

THE PREACHER 9/11/2011

Dear devotees and friends of my soul,

Success and failure are always dependent upon two elements. From one side misery and the other the effort one invests into something. Of course, one can consider karma as well but in the greater scheme of things our effort is justifiably that which our fight is for a positive future. Counteracting our negative karma of the past our fight is also our purification. And our reward is depending upon on our attitude of that fight. The accumulation of karma, good or bad (in the case of a sincere devotee, sukrti which is particularly accumulated in preaching), the reflection of a good job is that there are people that want to support you. It’s that people become fond of you and they are aware of your sacrifice until the point that they become inspired and also want to help. The one who wants to sacrifice something of their own egoistic world for the support in your seva, that which is the grandeur of devotional service or devotional life. If someone does something sincerely for God, they deserve the support of others. The one who does things solely for him/herself, with personal desires doesn’t deserve the support of anyone and only depends on the mercy of God for him. Mercy of God exists for everyone, through that you can see how many egoists have success in their companies.

Returning to the theme of preaching or the preacher, he is a man that through his seva has the propensity to sub serve others, if you have a store for Krsna, you must favor the cliental. Attending everyone in an amiable form and giving them access to numerous spiritual materials, which in turn helps your store becomes extremely successful. And he can give classes to his friends or send them to a class of other devotees nearby. Like the famous saying: the client is king, also in the service we do we must achieve a positive atmosphere, either way, with negativity, politics or of that nature, envy, degradation of others won’t produce anything successful. If you work in a ecological farm for example: An eco village, or one of our eco villages the reception must be beautiful, clean, and harmonious. The realization with the devotees and the potential retreat groups should be organized excellently. The administration and the kitchen should be well organized in any project. Who wants to do seva where there is no prasadam?

And the sadhana program also must also have validity, be amiable, headstrong, willful, enthusiastic and never with an unfavorable atmosphere. We live, finally, of our japa and philosophy, it’s the only thing maintains us sane. And those in other aspects are like children who do not know what they should do. The leaders of the eco villages should have already planned for proper function. Of course, that also is ability, a talent and without doubt requires sacrifice but imagine, compare how it is to work with volunteers or no volunteers. Perhaps without volunteers, it is less of a headache, but knowing how to enthuse others requires volunteers for everything you want to develop. While the volunteer program is effective, you will have a better example to give them and that is a benediction, in this way they engage in devotional service and they support you in your seva as well.

And who are those who give orders to the volunteers or the devotees or new devotees or the clients? They are sent directly by God for engaging you in your service. They are the embodiment of the Lord's mercy in your life. For example, someone who does sankirtan, goes to the street to look for what? He is not going to look for money. He is searching for those he can serve, with whom he can connect, those who he can provide with the monthly bulletin, to those who he can give a book (sankirtan personified),taking everything which your spiritual master has given you. In sankirtan personified, the person on sankirtan becomes the maximum representative of the vaisnava solidarity and at the same time, the maximum well wisher to his supposed clients which in reality are our friends, friend of the soul. To give him the best thing he could come across in his entire life, the sankirtaneer does not sell things that have been invented for implementation of consumerism and selling unnecessary or illicit things. Everything which a sankirtaneer sells or represents is a product of maximum benediction for the soul. They can even save someone from repeated birth and death. For the sankirtaneer, contact with any persons he comes to speak with him, they become so important as if they were speaking to or working for their very own mother. A sankirtaneer who works in this consciousness never becomes neither frustrated nor unmotivated and subsequently success will come. Which success will come?

Well, my success, for example, is if I can achieve one way or the other, that the devotees initiated by me, friends, members of vrinda family. Give me the mercy to hear, read, study my Sunday chat, my message from my heart and try to assimilate or absorb in their heart, this is my sankirtan. It is my intent to touch the door of your heart of each and every one of you. Now that I cannot see each one every week, in each door, to embrace your heart, the motivation to continue in the path of devotion, my personal advice and hopefully including sharing with you in your seva one day to give you new advice and new ideas. All this has led to me dictating this message, this Sunday September 11 2011, from Lima Peru, where observations of impact are made of the plans we have had in the past and how they have fructified up to date.

Today I find myself with a rock group known by Lima to encourage them in their participation of the spoon revolution. They are going on tour through Europe in the following summer. The group is called Pony Asteroids. Here in Lima, the devotees are in a feverish struggle fighting to prepare everything for the installation of Lord Jagannath for Mela, which is to arrive in a couple of days There are 30 volunteers in eco truly park despite that the climate is still cool, displaying the tremendous success that this project has, when the majority of the temples of the world do not have even 30 visitors in their temple. In this farm there are 30 people from different parts of the world supporting the cause of eco truly village and giving donations on top of that. Imagine 30 potential bhaktas. Who does not become enthusiastic by knowing this, has sickness in the head or they forgot that the mission of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu in his mission to provide the message of the Lord.

These are all gifts of Srila Prabhupada. Quality, quality, quality. Quality means that which you have in relation to others. In quality there is success because your sincerity is what produces your quality and the lack of quality in your relationships with others reveals the lack of sincerity in your desire to serve for the purpose of Sri Krsna. Even a successful egoist seller for example has to put much quality in his relationships in order for someone to buy something from him I beg you, to help me make this chat successful. Print it weekly and give it to other devotees who were not able to read it. Grant me permission, to maintain the connection with those whom I love most. Those who have faith in Srila Prabhupada, in the holy name or even those who are sympathetic to this service and its effort, I need you very much. Because I need to see you happy, I need to see you successful; I need to see you as experts, very sincere with the well being of everyone else. Only in this way, the abundance of spirituality will rain over you without doubt and always.

Srila Prabhupada Ki Jay!
