Today is the day of Srila Prabhupada. This morning we meditate: What is the greatest and most special thing that our Gurudeva did? And the conclusion was: Srila Prabhupada shared his home with the world. His resignation was so absolute that in New York and in many previous circumstances, he lived with his disciples and bhaktas in a very intimate and sacrificial way.

Speaking of biases, Prabhupada demonstrated so much love to the world that he tolerated everything.Srila Prabhupada lived with us, ate with us. Sometimes waiting in line for the toilet. He chatted and advised any concerns that another might have. He cooked for his disciples, wrote for them. He advised anyone who asked for any advice for spiritual life. It was an example of love, tolerance and brotherhood and not to be prejudiced against others. That gives merit to enter the ranks of the saints, of course a Vaishnava sannyasi is a saint.

In our history, Srila Prabhupada was noted for his love of others, and it was something proven.He really loved us and everyone who loves him, also comes to love others. Prabhupada also inspired this spirit in his genuine disciples: that a true disciple must be attached to preaching the message of his spiritual master and his divine message. This is what I meant. I want to state emphatically that Srila Prabhupada was unique.

Here we are in full celebration. With many special guests. They are making their offerings to Srila Prabhupada too. I want to invite Vishnu Maharaj, acharya of the Chaitanya Mission to say a few words to the devotees of the Chat. Before that, any questions? Here comes a question.

What does transcend mean?

The word transcend means to realize and that's not something you can theorize either, because any explanation will always be at the intellectual level. That has its validity, because one can say that one who is humble always take into consideration the feelings of others, and so on. But these are theoretical explanations. But when you use the word to transcend you are talking about realization.

Sometimes I talk to experience spirituality. That is very difficult today. Devotees are special and can experience spirituality but from time to time arises elements that are not spiritual, as anarthas or old attachments that have not yet been completely overcome and hinder implementation and the process of transcending. So in the spiritual life, there is something very important that we should never stop doing in the community: Istagosthi.

The meeting between those fighting for a cause. Not with people who are not activists or not experiencing the cause of a practical way. When you share with those who are fighting for the same cause, something very special. In a meeting, a devotee should be presented as follows:

-Dear devotees. I thank you for putting up with me. Second, I would like you to be so kind and tell me what I'm doing wrong, I can improve, because only you who know me and are the natural thermometers of my spiritual growth that can tell me if I may say or do crazy things, and tell me what I should not do. And so, I ask humbly to pass me a paper with these observations of my faults, to improve and become the server that actually longs to return.

Once, in a temple, the president said exactly what I was talking and just finished, everyone started to complain of his conduct. Rather, his own medicine tasted a little bitter. That is true sincerity, when you want to know how or what you do is impacting positively to others.This is a way of transcending one's ego, but you need to perform this transcendentally, spontaneously and not because someone tells you to.

Now a few words from Srila Bhakti Vicar Visnu Maharaj, Acharya of the Sri Chaitanya Mission. Please have a nice meditation and feast on this day of Srila Prabhupada.

You Are Eternal and Your Love Is Eternal

My dear devotees

Once again the year is coming to an end, slowly approaching the last two months.

We need to do to our being in the same present state of consciousness. What else should be accepted if you have not realized what you're doing right now? In other words, just forget about the future. And just begins to live in this moment and its development. Because now is the opulence of what you can expect to come. I'm referring to the opulence of a person becoming conscious in themselves.

Silence of our own mind is something like a hypothetical conjecture, because we never had any experience of that silence or perhaps silence is kept somewhere that we cannot remember.Otherwise, we maintain ourselves in some kind of thought. Krishna says it is easier to control the wind then to control the mind. The power of devotion is that which delivers to our mind a real reason to rejoice; Yesterday we talked a lot about a kind of mix between internal satisfaction accompanied with a kind of resignation in certain circumstances, which have been the best we could get . It's a different state of consciousness where everyone has an opportunity ...

In that state of consciousness about the greatest purity possible of my skills is a type of task, we can say its something like "mission impossible" And very often we can return to some frustration that prevents us from finding our own expectations.

It gives us the possibility to leave everything we have done so far to be completely dedicated to our well being. We see this very often in our western concept of happiness.Unfortunately this includes changing everything, wife, children and many other items, leaving the previous commitments for new ones. This means raising our own dharma. But dharma must guide us to leave the most intense state of ignorance, and that kind of awareness will guide us to different kinds of perceptions, in some way or another. Therefore, we can say that there is a state of consciousness in the material mode of goodness that one can penetrate and not wish to return because it has penetrated the line of divine love.

To be ready to die for our love is another state of consciousness that comes from the world of sentimental terms. If we think of mothers who are risking their lives to rescue their children or the kamikazes, they really have different connotations. Being ready to die for your love signifies the moment of love is more important than the time of life itself. And since life is a temporary thing anyway so why not be ready to die if love is important in itself. That is the love that we seek. That's why Srila Jiva Goswami says in his song of life or death, that forever Radha and Krsna are my only refuge. In life or death, forever, Radha and Krishna are my only refuge.

Our central insight reaches the point of ridiculousness. And we spend many times by the repeated experience of the exploration of the senses. Then we can ask the question: What happens to all the pleasures we had earlier in life? and quickly came to the conclusion that they were only temporary. No one finds something wonderful about the pleasures of the past, only when one has suffered in the past and can recognize that they are not in complete control of things. And we are never really in complete control of things. Sometimes we think we are the drivers but it is only an illusion of the lies. Its like children.

Then when you die to live, when you're ready to die for your love, then you will feel certain that nothing can diminish the joy of the situation. So when you have that feeling of circumstances, we can come to feel some kind of ecstasy. We call that ecstasy: Falling in love, but this concept begins with the word fall, then when you hear the word fall you think something not very good will continue. So let's talk about getting up in love, falling in love. And love can not be an unpleasant experience. It's very spiritual. Eternal love, Nitya Prema.

What should we do with this body anyway? Why have we not sought this love since the beginning of our lives? Supposedly it is the love for which we were willing to die for. Sure, we can also disconnect and say ready, thanks. But here in India they do not appreciate when you say thanks, because that means thank you and goodbye. Of course in the West we use it differently, as a thank you indeed. But when you're really thankful there's no need to say thanks, but you say you're mine and I am yours. That's a real state of consciousness. We are looking for that love that we can not deny. But what to do to find it? And speaking of how all ages can approach, one should embrace the eternal existence ....

Ofcourse, between 12 and 30 years of age we did not think much of eternal existence, but after 30 one starts to think about it, and after 45 one has a kind of alarm about it and when approaching 60 and is aware of it is a kind of need.

Training. This is a complex concept How to entertain a man? Playing? Playing instruments? Do you have time to play? Do you think there is nothing to invest time into it and pursue it? This is very serious ... but if you want to be a kid again, just wait because soon you will have a body and get a real entertainment according to your wishes. It is not the time to play. It is time to understand that you're playing with the love of your heart. You should throw in the towel, give up and admit that you're not the driver. You try to control everything, wife, children, family ... but forget it.

You do not control anything. And we are not friends of others because we do not even know what is good for others. We do not even understand what is good for ourselves.

Then what to say about being generous. If you give something and you can develop a love that embraces others, you can feel inner satisfaction and freeing the concept of control and enjoy it's own divinity. You really have to convince the deity to come into your life and take possession of it. And when you become compassionate, Divinity will accept you as an instrument of His love. Because this is more valuable than all the opulence of the world combined. But you can see that the love we are looking for is of one nature only which can give you the best energy in your life and offer that at the altar with all joy and rejoice. There is nothing more beautiful than to be elevated in the experience of being used by the Divine love. This is what I understood intellectually, because to have this done one must be consumed by love. And not consumed by the consumer society, I want to be consumed in the fire of Yagna.

So when the Lord's pleasure becomes your pleasure then that is the feeling of I am yours and you are mine.This is what I want to share today. And so you can sing and dance forever like this. Jay Sri Radhe.And a big hug to all the devotees in the Chat.

Sometimes we can feel tired of our own frustrations, but the desires are so intense that only when one desire comes and we are going for another. But we have all come from duality ... this is our conditioned existence. And this is because we have to move ourselves from the satisfaction of our desires to satisfy His desires.

You are eternal and love is eternal. Moving from conformist joy to joy produced by the service to divinity. All this can be understood by surrender. This is of transcendental possibility, it is not easy to understand.

Month of Mercy 10/16/2011

Conference from Vrindavan.

Dear devotees, this is the beginning of Braj mandal parikrama number 27 of Vrinda family.We feel very fortunate to again have a group of ecstatic devotees from different parts of the world, predominantly in South America.

The purpose of the parikrama is to have much personal time to share with you, since in my travels, that kind of closeness for many days are not possible and each day is less because more projects arise and want to invite me to be visited and cared for. And if I'm not going to see new projects, the devotees feel unhappy, as if their service I do not care for. In fact, the most important thing for me is the personal relationship of heart to heart.

At the same time, I have many other things in my life which also need to be addressed. For example, I just got back from a meeting with the secretary of the Acarya and Gaudiya Mission, which is the largest single mission of the original Gaudiya Math.

We decided to create an alliance to create a museum for Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Prabhupada, we have this plan in the Pandavali Kunja in Vrindavan, the place we're sitting right now dictating this chat. The Calcutta Museum is next to the Bag Bazaar Gaudiya Math. This same building built by Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta was declared a national monument in India, for its historical importance and they acquired land next to the Bag Bazaar Gaudiya Math to make the museum of Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada of three floors. It is an ambitious and expensive project. There is also the great news about the recent discovery of the diary of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur 1904-07. It was discovered accidentally in a collection of old books of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta secretary, which was donated to Bodhayan Maharaj Srila Bhakti Bibhuda from the son of Sundar Vidya Vinod. Nobody knew that this diary existed ...

We will also make a collection of images so that anywhere in the world where there is some room available in a temple they can do a mini museum of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta. Rather, it is part of the project to promote Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura Prabhupada as India's largest hero of divine love. Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is like the greatest ambassador of Divine Love in the world, but its full inspiration came from the greatest hero of Divine Love, His Gurudeva, who inspired many others, also pure devotees to establish missions in India of which today many have already spread to many countries.

Our life and the month of Kartika is pure mercy, though one does not understand and some people think it is more important to techno dance at a party or sunbathing on a beach to get your back tanned. We know that this stay in Vrindavan is unique in history and you do not know how many times in lifewe have this opportunity. We have a very nice plan, the union brings strength and the future of our life depends on the inspiration we get from the association of devotees. I can personally say that my heart is touched only when I see the setting sun beating on these beautiful columns of the medieval palaces built by the devotees to the glories of Krishna. And right here, where Krishna killed the Keshi demon, the representative of the arrogance and cruelty (which Krishna killed him good) and if we chant the Maha Mantra with great humility, the demon of arrogance and cruelty too will be killed.What is the comparative value of what Vrindavan offers, and that which the rest of the world offers? Hopefully understand it. Because if you understand you will not feel the slightest reluctance to devote your full attention, concentration and dedication to extract the infinite nectar of Braj Raj dust or Vrindavan dust touched by the lotus feet of Krishna. Please Do not think that this dust is common characteristics, like any other dirt of the earth, as this does not lead to devotion, there is dust all over the world ...

But how many places are there where Love is condensed liquid in the mellows of Braja manifested in every particle, every atom is on this site, full of energy, potential and energizing which only the infinite can understand and explain? You know, the powers as well as essences, intensified extracts from a particular content are managed with great care. Imagine then the place where Krishna play the flute, where the gopis danced with him ... or hobbies in the river Yamuna. The air and the deities as Gopeshwar Mahadeva or those installed by Brajanath, the great grandson of Krishna. Millions of pure devotees chanting the Holy Names and praying for love. Can you imagine the power this will have? Of course, when we clean the Rasa sthali where the Rasa dance manifested, our eyes can not see, but at the same time, seeing the earth as beautiful, the river, sun and moon, will excite anyone's heart. And you can imagine how it will be the beauty of Goloka Vrindavan, free from the influence of Kali Yuga. I wish all of you who can not be here on Kartik with us, all the best, to deepen the singing of the Maha Mantra. The Maha Mantra contains the immaculate presence and power of emancipating the soul dear to Krishna from his position as a sinner to become one with all those souls completely surrendered to the Lord.

Srila Puri Maharaj often said: "We are all equal, all have the same chance. If we chant Hare Krishna we can get the maximum benefit, we can even get back to the spirit world if we chant the holy names at the time of death." Therefore, prejudice and discrimination against others is really an insult. More than this, not only an insult, it reveals the ignorance of the world is rotting still. The Secret Music of the Soul 10/09/11

Dear devotees

This conference is called "The secret music of the soul". The "om" is the mantra of invocation. Srila Prabhupada awakened a spiritual duty in my life; I was saturated with work for all my life. Then I met other teachers who also gave me the secret music of the soul. This grows more and more, and never stops, it mystically expands. This is called samadhi, that is to say, you are no longer aware of what is happening outside, you no longer need support from outside, you're full on transcendence and supreme dedication.

This vibration (manifested in feeling, thinking and willing), when it becomes a devotional sound, you get to feel the secret music of the soul. It is a vibration of the heart, you can project your life to hope, is not necessarily a sound sung. It is in line with the mantra: satyam shivam sundharam. It's something that makes the heart feel at home, coming after a great career at home; feeling a world of love, and beauty completely dominates everything. This is very great, as great musicians you all have developed many technical abilities, but if the heart does not vibrate in the experience of the secret vibration of the soul at the end of the concert (which is supposed to be experienced in fullness), you end up getting drunk or drugged. Because your heart is not full, it has no inner satisfaction, and it throws you to the ground again and again.

The secret music of the soul is at another level, it is one in which you meet the supreme love, when this seed is manifested (as vine) planted by a lover of God, it becomes very strong and takes hold of you, your world of thoughts, attachments and so on., are affected. Attachment is good when it is for the good (and vice versa), the attachment that causes your sadness can be the cause of your liberation. Attachment to stand firm in your commitment and your personal votes can save you.

The person whose heart has been captivated by casual music, it causes experience in the universal love towards all his brothers in a much compromised form. She is the one that frees us briskly. In an effort to find a love outside yourself, you make many mistakes, the love you seek is within you, you have to look and feel the music vibrate secret within you, this is like giving you a strong safety and satisfaction, this does not cost, it is free. The mantra has purity to clean, it is not something that is vibrating in your mouth, you feel it in your heart.

The seeds of love are dealt with music, if you're willing to tune it, through a humble attitude and seek the shelter of your being, all spiritual secrets will be revealed automatically in your life, and this is great. The meaning of a word, a mantra, transcendental feeling is something that is hidden within the heart of the person who is carrying. He or she must have a predisposition, this is pure mercy.

The secret music is perceived when one yearns for it. Minded arrogant, defiant, you will have no connection to the divine vibration, it is said. It is open to the one who will prepare for it. It is revealed when your hearts wants it to enter totally in this vibration. When these secrets are made accessible, the person is filled with a boundless joy, their desires are satisfied, and he becomes a channel for this seed, a doctor of souls.

Have an open mind and never disturb others. See the beauty of the enthusiasm and sacrifice. Be open-minded to see that God has many names and feel compassion through this, there are many invitations.

The soul becomes a musician forever. This is the worshipful meeting we want; a hug sweeter than honey. When this whole world is striking you, it means that you are absorbed in the secret music of the soul. This is expanded, you feel so lucky that universal love seizes the heart of one and you want to start to love everyone. I want to serve; I want to be with you.

Today young people are disappointed, depressed and so on. We begin to see an increase in abortions, drug addiction, suicide; this is very serious, because a person who commits such acts cannot be happy ever. The secret music of the soul is non-sectarian, the call is not owned by a group or person, it is something that occurs when the Lord is pleased with you and gives you the opportunity to be a conduit for this. God gives us the opportunity to reciprocate his love and vibrate the infinite message of love, just singing, praying you are connecting.

The music makes Mother Nature, the instruments are made of wood, shells, etc... The most sophisticated instrument is the voice of man, you can do wonderful things with it. Oh Lord I want Your voice be of Your pleasure to carry the message of love to others, my life has no meaning without it. It is she who can carry the message of hope to others. It is not a matter of great knowledge, but rather the feeling and the willingness to distribute the nectar, it is God who gives the secret music of the soul.

On this Sunday chat, we want to share with you a report from the educational training seminar of Vrinda Family held this week in Eco Truly Park. However, before the report we wish to announce that this morning the installation of deities of Jagannath, Baladev and Subadra will be held in Colon temple. Here we will share with you a message sent by Srila Gurumaharaj in relation to the day of his Vyasapuja:

Dear Devotees,

It is a pleasure of being a member of our family. All those feeling that have been expressed to me via email for my birthday are very loving and belong to Srila Prabhupada because he rescued me from being useless so I may win his company and yours.

Money cannot buy a heart to heart relationship and what to say of demanding pleasure such as intoxication, illicit sex or fame…this do not have any importance. And Srila Prabhupada saved us from becoming involved in these activities that are a waste of time.

Without a doubt, the material world offers many situation of conflict but in association with devotees it is easier to surpass them.

I am profoundly grateful for all the amorously confident seeds which have been planted and nurtured around the world by my representatives especially sannyasis, maharanis and temple presidents. They have made it possible for our spiritual family to exist that is why I appreciate thos devotees who are ready to take responsibility to help and protect others. I wish you good health with all my love and gratitude. I will continue my life of pilgrimage to stay as active as possible in the service of Srila Prabhupada and you; a big hug from the bottom of my heart and always dancing in the sweet kirtan of Lord Nityananda and Lord Gauranga. The Istadevs of the Vrinda Vrinda Family are very important. This morning I heard my spiritual teacher sacredly, speaking of skeptics and said we have nothing to do with it, the skeptical person will not want to see the reality of the beauty of divinity and the tasks that accompany them, because if there is divinity, there is homework, there are compromises. Practically the authoritative philosophy is born from skepticism; nihilism is something in the system.

We are misfits in this world; we are the misfits, unfavorable thing, incompatible, where there is no link, something that makes you feel out of place and empty, but of course because you are poor and others rich. Krsna is very merciful, he creates paradoxes, India is a country of paradoxes. We are eternal spirit souls, but we are in a body that could die at any moment, there is no anyone can claim that they can’t, although we are alive at any time it can be cancelled. I am in the world of the living but I have to die, a misfit in this world goes from every point of view because you do not belong, be honest and don’t say that you are well when you are much more uncomfortable here. Accept that you are not well, you failed , you were born, one is and is not, you wants to be and cannot be, you want and cannot have, and when you have you are already tired of that ...

Happiness cannot be bought anywhere, in this world of misfits, we are the ones that make it messy. Then when you are born in Peru, for example they call you for military service and you say do not bother me with this, but if you’re born in Puno then go do military service, when one is born into a material place they are obliged to do because you were born in a geographical location. The material world is full of compromise, if you want to consume then pay then government. This material world is full of compromises, the birth from parents equally, they want you to do things in life, strange things, and they usually want good things for you but not always. They can exploit, sell their children, you work you study, you're famous, you know God, and learn to love God. In a play parents say that’s my son said, my friend, mine, mine, mine, it does not end. You are dependent, dependent on the air, the farmer, agriculture, people who organize the school where you send your children. You do not do anything and you are dependent on all and you are an integral part of something that is not known why or to where ... it is complex. But the essence is simple, the authority is the truth, the law is obvious, the truth and the law are for everyone.

There is something more important, love, divine love that has created you as part of Him, when we sing Hare Krsna we celebrate love, truth, and divine law. The most intelligent of all is Krishna, he plays the flute and makes everyone do their things, dancing with the gopis, milks the cows and also when He leaves Vrindavan He has to kill demons, it is analogy. The devotee is the active intelligence; all the devotee does is to please Krishna. A devotee can work as an ordinary laborer, and simply would not mind even cleaning toilets, carrying sticks. The devotee is really simple, everything he does is for Krsna and it is a great satisfaction, he feels compassion for others and sweats for others and it is most natural. He is always willing to sweat for the ideals of love, the devotee is convinced that he cannot save himself, so he sings Hare Krsna saying Krsn I'm lost without you, there is no future without you, save me, I'm disappointed in myself , I’m attached, I’m in illusion and only you Lord Damodara can rescue me. I can’t save myself from the repeated births and deaths, I'm at your feet ready to do anything, I don’t want this false ego, I do not want to be in the world of deceivers. I just want the truth. The devotee is a tireless worker who does not want to be in this world, his is in this world but not of this world. It's something that can be given the gift of pure bhakti, it is a gift, and sraddha is a gift.

One phrase made me become a vegetarian, how many people are preached to and do not understand anything, that happens, that's the big question. If we are devoted because of the gifts, we will determine, and if we have that determination that is also a gift. If we have a good devotee it is a present and vice versa and if not that was the karma of your nonsense, everything good is by gift. In India girls are taught to pray for a good husband, that's sacred tradition in India, pray about everything, but if you're praying for money then you’re a fool and that is horrible. There was an old lady who picked up twigs and assembled them in a large bag and carried them, and when she passed by the side of a kalpa vriksa she dropped the bag and said please God and Krishna appeared, and she said that if He would help her again to carry the bag.

Praying for material things shows how little you understand about how big God is. There was a guy who was carrying heavy things across the stream, a teacher came and told you're a great worker and told him I grant you one wish, and he asked to put mattresses to pass the edge of the river, planet earth, planet full of fools always want to do silly things like Internet girlfriend. The devotee depends on mercy, he says my Lord I am yours do with me whatever you want. No one besides you that can make this beast do something good. The maha mantra cleanses, a devotee cannot do anything to anyone, an excellent grhastra is a beauty in Krsna Consciousness, we celebrate their lives. Continue singing because your sexual excitement can attract you to other women when your wife is already less beautiful with three children. Oh my Lord let me be an instrument of your love u, and if this sounds like work, then stop singing because you don’t want to work, no it’s not like that, that is why you need to continue singing and studying the Bhagavatam in the association of the devotees to remember that everything is because of mercy.

We are fallen and distorted and disoriented, the only thing that makes us intelligent is when we are active in the service of Krsna and even though I am well, still only depend on the mercy of the Lord. If your children are doing well it is because of mercy. It is the only thing that gets us to the spiritual world at the time of death, chanting Hare Krishna, is how we want to leave the body. What do you want? I have no desire to be with Indra, I have no desire for anything in this world of cheating and cheaters. To enter the world of the supreme divinity means to pray, prayer is the greatest no matter what, prayer because there are many situations in life where you do not control. However Krsna does control. Being skeptical is stupid, there is no protection at all, and skepticism is inclined to depression and difficulties of life. Be appreciative and grateful that we have this faith. Our spiritual path is to pray and work every day and do not forget to study, without study one cannot understand things and you fill your head with speculation.
