The Sankirtaneer 2/15/2015

Dear devotees,

In our SEVA meeting, Editorial Vaishnava Acharyas Service, I announced that  2015 our mission is the traditional mission of distributing literature and other spiritual messages published by SEVA and that myself could be a sankirtaneer promoting these materials. This begins now that we are in 2015.

The sankirtaneer is the heart of the movement of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, because he is situated at the lotus feet of Nityananda Gauranga, who are dancing around the world with Their harinam sankirtan which is the rasa lila of this era. And at the tip of the Lord's lotus feet is the sankirtaneer because when he is dancing, he is touching a person with the message of love, that's the point of GourNitai's dancing, that it touches people, where the souls are called to hear and become impressed with the message of Krishna, who is in their own heart.

The call of sankirtan devotee is to wake you up, so that with your human intelligence you see that you are not this material body but are an eternal spirit soul and have a mission full of love.

Similarly, the sankirtaneer also has a mission full of love and what is it? To distribute all the books and materials of seva. The sankirtaneer tells the person: My mission in this moment is to leave you well armed so you can defend yourself, because you are disarmed in the world of kali, you're lacking, which is a dangerous situation. So I bring you the Bhagavad Gita, Sri Isopanisad, we also have Andean music and varied musical styles.

Another important material is the DVD of organic ecological farms, as well as the Annual Vraja Mandal Parikram, this is a project in India from the Vrinda family, where we visit sacred sites and we help to clean beautiful places like Yamuna Kunja, Vamsi Kunja, Vrinda Kunja, while we sing, dance and are grateful for everything that comes into our life.

The sankirtaneer is armed, equipped and informed, and has all medicines in his arsenal, or at least has the catalog to take orders and save the contacts he makes. In actuality, the sankirtaneer can not carry all the materials, but he can have the list of all materials that Seva carries and knows each material.

Seva is dedicated to equipping devotees. No seva product was created with a commercial vision of selling something that people would like, and neither have we put naked women so that people look, no seva product has this content and end. We deliver the message of love, God's message of Truth.

The gift that the sankirtaneer has is paramount, and I want all of you to be equipped sankirtaneers. This is for all. No matter what you dedicate yourself to, the sankirtan is not just for brahmacaris who are dedicated to this all the time, the sankirtan is for everyone. We are sankirtaneers first. Any devotee can equip him(her)self and become a sankirtaneer that distribute what Prabhupada has given us. We have all these materials to establish our sincere, loving relationship with others, sankirtan is love in action.

The sankirtan mission is the most humble, the most tender, where the devotee only wants to reach the hearts of people. This is important when it is understood that  devotees are brothers who are raising a familiar relationship in this world, with the heart message that we are children of Mother Earth, and that we are children of God and we have a relationship of love with Him.

I have done many things, I have worked and tried to have as much material as possible, so that even the most timid devotee of the world, can have a connection with preaching. Therefore we meditations of heart to heart, I don't think that most know that seva has this, a message that includes information on where we serve, which also allows the whole world to be happy with a Vedic mantra.

Soon we will be sharing the information to view online, but this is a sermon for the day and for all. With messages of faith, love, and protection for our Mother Earth.

We also need to distribute more Okis, we are in a campaign to change consciousness in the world. I hope you will all support me in this, with enthusiasm and hereafter that these messages are ready for sankirtan, to distribute and are in the sankirtan bags, not in the house. This becomes a habit and then we can reach more people.

Thank you very much. Lets continue the sankirtan marathon every day of our lives
Haribol.

Personalized Sankirtan from Mayapur 1/11/2015

Dear devotees
Happy New Year.

I want to thank all the devotees who have took part in such a beautiful marathon. This year something very interesting happened. On one side there were warriors tremendously giving all their efforts in the streets, distributing books and magazines with Gopal Sundara winning this beautiful competition.

Sankirtan has one purpose: to awaken the love of all for all. And another thing beautifully happened during the same period of the sankirtan marathon, the biggest collector of person to person sankirtan, utilizing yoga courses, our beloved Rasikendra of Bogotá, who gave us a different style of sankirtan which now confirms that it is a super productive tool. I decided that this could not compete with the more common form of sankirtan that was done on the buses. But at this moment I want to recognize Rasikendra prabhu's tremendous efforts and stress the importance of what he is showing us. A good lesson on personalized sankirtan.

I invite him and Sundar Gopal prabhu from Dominican Republic to share their secrets, in the form of an interview for the page, to encourage others in following their wonderful examples. For me, the marathon in India was mostly based on the production of websites and literature. The traditional form of sankirtan is of the utmost importance because it can be applied in any town in the world, not only in large cities where there are many buses where one can do sankirtan. And that is so important because the devotees have to go to every town and village in the world and with personalized sankirtan materials they can make good collections and keep their temples, that's the most important message.

This morning I was giving the order of visnu priya to mother Prabhupada kripa in Veni panca and just behind her there were fishermen, getting a giant fish net into the river, and I remembered what Jesus said. He said we are fishers of men and women. Taking the vow of renunciation, going on sankirtan or giving lectures at universities all share one purpose: to bring souls to Lord Krishna, to fish  them out of the ocean of material nature in which they are suffering.

Thank you to all of you for understanding this and for participating in it. And with this message from the heart I say goodbye for today, praying to always implement all the wisdom that Srila Prabhupada gave us.

A recommendation for readers. Please read Vaiyasaki's book, my spiritual brother, where he did a tremendous job of defeating the materialistic judgements of the atheists; this book will be available because it's almost completely translated into Spanish by our translator star from Cali, Gopal shakti.

Jay Srila Prabahupada ki jay

With much love from Mayapur dhama
Haribol.

Your always well-wisher

Sankirtan Marathon. From India 12/08/13

                                               Conference .

My dear devotees, this is my last message from India .
All my affection for all of you.

After having seen a documentary about vaccines, I can only say to all of you, especially to the fathers of their family : avoid , avoid , avoid , all vaccines for your children and yourself. I will not spend the time now to tell you about all the arguments, but it is a documentary called, "Vaccination, the hidden truth " which has subtitles in Spanish, and there you can find all the arguments that one person can have to never put their children in more danger of the greedy speculation of irresponsible people.

As far as I know, no vaccine is required, they are all dangerous. After watching this documentary, I personally consider myself a victim of the vaccination, I suffered from asthma in my childhood and that is one of the diseases that  arise from vaccines.

Apart from this, many diseases like autism, epilepsy, allergies, hyperactivity in children, etc., are linked with vaccines. The Mafia are of such shameful great size. When one sees the amount of lies they give the people so they can take their money including putting them in life threatening situations, it is incredible. Think and inform yourself. After watching this documentary, I felt like putting those personas who gave me vaccinations in my childhood in front of a jury. It is something incredible. Do not have doubts on it any more, this is a message directly from my heart ... and these vaccinations are something that should be totally dismissed . It is better said that I amcompletely interested in your health and in your children's health, but I am disinterested in the business of vaccines. This was a brief statement before giving my message on the December marathon .

Today I received a video about the Sankirtan marathon which gave me much joy to see. Sankirtan is a way out from misery. It is a celebration of joy. It is the perfection of human intercommunication . There is nothing more profound and sweet than to arouse a soul from their worldly life without hope.  Even if its a rare case of immediate success. Each one of us are a success and these, and if you were a success, then why can't others also be?

I'm over taken by the need of the Krishna Consciousness for this world, even though there are many people who do not understand that, but like the devotees here who didn't give me the chance to give class tonight because they went out to Sankirtan.

Today some devotees left to do Sankirtan theatre on the street. This is a theater that can be done everywhere and can be combined with Sankirtan. It is the awakening of eco consciousness by part of the Global Conscious Compact, with excellent illustrations done by Vishvarupa , he also does them in expanded forms in the streets of Vrindavan.

It is a simple system : one person is wearing a costume filled of junk which represents the "Muci", the " the pig ", this persona goes throughout the streets looking friends, better said, he is in search of piggish people who allow his products to be thrown in the street. He congratulates them and tries to embrace them.

Symbolically, "Muci" throws trash over people's heads, in an expressive manner towards the floor. And if someone comes to pick up the garbage to put it in the right place ( "Suci" ) who is walking in a group in the form of one giant bag and inside there is a beautiful person, every time someone comes to do that "Muci" comes to protest against recycling and tells them trash is meant to be left on the street. In a moment appears one cow with a wonderful costume and then "Muci" gives the cow plastic to eat.
The cow becomes sick and falls flat, hence a member of the theater comes disguised as the "Doctor" and he takes the plastic out of mouth of the cow and screams to the surrounding public "plastic kills cows." In India, the killing of cows is called " gohatya " and is seen as one of the worst crimes.

The doctor takes the plastic out of the cow's mouth and sings " Govinda, Govinda, Govinda, wake up please" and the cow gets up with the applause of the people. It is an effective theater because it is held in front of the very Shops that are responsible for fouling and generating garbage, thus "Muci" finds his allies there and congratulates them. " Yamuna " the sacred river, she is represented by a beautiful woman with a dress that also has plastic on it, " Yamuna " protests and tells everyone that they should put the plastic in the garbage bag and demonstrates the cause of contaminating her river.

At the end, the actors present the chaddar of Vrindavan with all the conscious messages if someone  wants to buy it then it can be sold so it can be hung in the house. You can also present them with posters, which can be stuck to the wall of the offender, the Business, so they can remember the impact of the theater.

It is a short work that can be repeated every time. For Europe you can even show the separation of the organic and inorganic garbage. Now, all of you  who have seen this message as a bit rudimentary, but here in India, when it is executed by western actors it creates a tremendous impact and it goes hand in hand with our campaign of protecting the Yamuna.

This is a bit of the Sankirtan of Vrindavan these days. We also take the play to one school in Delhi and it was very well received and reported in newspapers throughout the city. Tomorrow we are going to present this work to one of thestrong supporters of Vrindavan , KPS Gill and Chandi Heffner , the Doctor of animals .

With these words I bid you farewell. Sending you all my affection from Vrinda Kunja and all the enthusiasm to have many wonderful days in the Sankirtan marathon. I am very happy that we are going to meet soon.
A hug from the heart.

Jay Srila Prabhupada!
Your always well wisher,
Ba Paramadvaiti Swami
