Celebrating the association of devotees 4/29/12 Miami

Dear devotees, Greetings from Miami.
Today I just received a copy of the third edition of the Confidential Science of Bhakti Yoga in a deluxe edition, which was a joint effort of the United Sevas, this edition was published by Seva Ecuador and worked very neatly by Seva Bogota .
Today I want to share with you three topics:
The first is over the inclusion of astrology in our preaching within Vrinda Family. Most astrologers are basically rookies and because they have faith in the Vedic culture, they should be devoted to preaching the Law of Karma ... as a part of a Universal Cosmic Law and must take refuge in God. Another way to apply astrology in Vaishnava community is in the study of couples’ compatibility, in order to help those who want to make a home. This gives them a guide and a natural protection. But is not authorized to make charts among Vaishnavas, it is forbidden, because when one takes refuge in Sri Radha nothing else is needed much less searching karmic calculations of Durga Devi...
Astrology should be used only to enthuse people not for other purposes, because there is much speculation about it too. In the past there were occurrences where many astrologers used their position to seduce women, and that's not right. Astrology can be used to make a great sermon and bring more worshipers at the feet of Krishna, but, how about if the astrologer tells a devotee something that discourages them away from their spiritual master? This is very dangerous. You cannot put others into anxiety. Besides, Srila Prabhupada told us every time you clap in the kirtan your destiny changes.

Rakhe krsna mare ke, mare krsna rakhe ke
"If Krsna wants to kill someone, no one can save them, and if Krishna wantsto save someone, no one can kill them.”

And, as Srila Prabhupada says, you must be ready to die today. It is better! Of course, it is not that the devotees are free of karma, but devotees should not be influenced by astrological predictions. The service of an astrologer is just awakening faith and joy in the hearts of others.
My second message is on Sankirtan. We need your presence and attention very much as well as your Sankirtan and collection because as Srila Prabhupada said, the collection should be daily. He stressed that 50% of our energy should be directed to the distribution of books and so Lakshmi will come. Of course, there are devotees, who don’t distribute books and have Laksmi, but forget the temple and the temple gets nothing. The church grows when more people are connected with it. And of course, the temple administration should be very transparent. If there is no transparency in how Lakshmi is being utilized then nobody will want to donate anything.
Prabhupada said it clearly: every dollar that goes in and out of a temple should be noted, there should be no secrets in the administration. Therefore a temple where there is no Laksmi there is not enough preaching, because in the end, we all must put Lakshmi in order to survive. One cannot live by the sweat off of another person, of course, there are some cases where someone has to do something specific and is maintained or works without pay. Srila Prabhupada bothered if he had paid devotees in the temples because they did not dedicate themselves in the service that will generate Lakshmi. Of course, there are exceptions, but it is clear that Sankirtan will deliver everything we need including materially. Lakshmi management must be very transparent in our temples, always. We should have millionaire temples for Krishna. In spiritual life we need a vibrant center, where the realization is real, it must be seeked after constantly. It's the first thing that the preacher should look for: what to do to keep things vibrant. When someone gives me a donation for Krishna they always expect it to be well used hence, the senior devotees are the guardians of the Mission, and everyone should help make the best possible. Everyone should do so Krishna feels pleased with us-to avoid having to return to Earth to pay debts. What if you want to go to Krishna Loka and someone comes with an invoice? And the bill says, this is equivalent to a birth in Mexico ... So pay your debt! But, no!
So please, please: Keep the community transparent and always with love. That is my wish.
The third part of my message today is to glorify a wonderful group of conscious artists. The group Nimai from Chile formed with Govinda Prabhu Bhajams and Mother Malini. They produced a year ago an audio CD of the Ramayana and this product was nominated and elected for a Vrinda Award 2012. It has an output level that can be called "classic" and is a key element in preaching. It was produced by Nimai Group as a great gift to the world and the devotees. Thus, in Cart Records, we had the adventure that different Sevas produce classic collections. Still, many of them go unnoticed, because unless there is a tremendous promotion, then the materials are lost. For this reason I promote this Ramayana of Chile. This CD takes a unique position. Additionally, it represents a classic in Vaishnava education in order learn Vedic history; for there are many facts that are declared as mythology, but have been verified by archaeological evidence, and this is the position of the history of Ramayana. Therefore, the Ramayana should be in the bag of each sankirtaneer to assess the tremendous value of the job these devotees did. Those who composed the music and recorded in the studios of Santiago, they will receive this beautiful fame for the service they have done and although they did not do it for fame, this reputation is entirely deserved, and is more: not only do they deserve the fame, the people of the whole world deserve to hear from Lord Rama thanks to this production.
I ask you to send these Sunday messages to all the temples; all church leaders must be current on it. What to say of the congregation of the devotees? And everyone should be very aware, because without exaggeration, we have an interesting product each week because we have many devoted activists producing materials.
Yesterday I revisited my CDs and found a work completely missed: The recording of the Bhagavad Gita in Quechua; it is a tremendous job, but nobody is talking about it. This is something which has been unspoken and not glorified, lost. And that is very pitiful, and it may happen that a devotee who has done a great job becomes discouraged because no one used their material. These things can happen. And why, because other devotees did not pay attention. For example:
If you produce Vaishnava material and Vaishnava family is not supporting you, then one naturally feels frustrated by it, and that often happens to us. The Spoon Revolution also has lots of CDs and DVDs to promote most of the ministries, and everyone involved here are very nice and enthusiastic, but they know nothing of the materials that exist, they have not received them or they have not been copied and so, they miss things. So we must always be active in promoting all the nice things that devotees produce.
Now I want to tell you a little bit about the trip of these days in Puerto Rico. There Giriraj Prabhu together with our local devotees, are active in diverse areas of the island. They have a beautiful island called Vrinda Kunja, where we can create programs similar to those carried out in the Eco Village in South America. On the other hand, in the temple of Bayamon we have a beautiful house of Gouranga with an exclusive privilege: It is next to a hillock (mountain) called Govardhan. A hillock is a piece of land that rose like a mountain and goes about 50 meters up. So this is a huge Govardhan hillock. This Govardhan hillock can be accessed from our church and even though it is not our property, we are caring for it. It is a beautiful botanical garden that is difficult to find words to describe it. We just need a way to accommodate those whom are over 40 so they can go ... because at the moment only athletes can go up. The hummocks are an ecological phenomenon and in Puerto Rico they are very lush. The preaching in Puerto Rico is under way but, as always, it takes more hands-on, more enthusiasm and more South American spirit. And obviously, we are fortunate to have a very good spirit that is obviously created by the management of so many beautiful sannyasis and the diversity that exists among our devotees. For the Union in Diversity exists in the Vrinda Family.
In Puerto Rico I gave some lectures in Yoga schools, where everyone liked the Kirtan and dancing. I also had a conference at Hector’s, who is a longtime devotee who never took initiation, highly educated and knowledgeable and teaches Bhagavad Gita and leads many of his listeners to take initiation. It's very nice to go and see a circle of seniors studying the Bhagavad Gita very seriously. Thus, we can take the example of what can be achieved when one is determined and fixed on something. Soon there will be more people who are devotees it only requires confidence and perseverance. Nothing more, nor your own house or anything, Hector got a friend's house to give lessons ... this is an example to show that any devotee can preach, preaching and taking it to heart. And that means Krishna Consciousness. Success comes when things are taken seriously.
Another excellent devotee is mother Mantra Manjari who has a great school in a house where she lives with her beautiful family. Arjuna Prabhu recently rented an apartment near the university with the desire to preach to young people. As in all the temples in the world, here too there is a shortage of devotees and it is not as easy for someone to surrender to Krishna, especially in an island devoted to vacationing with beautiful beaches around, but be what it may, you can die even in Puerto Rico. Therefore, there is no reason to not surrender to Krishna at once because it is the only thing that will save our soul from the material duality. Although we can prove that in warm weather places - festive – tourism, the process of Bhakti Yoga is more difficult, but if someone really takes to heart this process it will be achieved. Sri Gaura Avatar said that in every town and village in the world should receive the chanting of Holy Name of Krishna. That's the order of Sri Mahaprabhu and I hope that in a short time, the devotees of beautiful Puerto Rico publish photos of their programs and those who wish to support the service there, inform me. The only need is enthusiasm (and the U.S. visa).
Finally, in this message today. I want to share with you an issue that can be called:
Celebrating the joy of the association of devotees. Sometimes devotees tend to be discouraged due to some misunderstandings or errors that have not been forgiven, and so, they lose the joy of sharing with the devotees. We already know that this medicine is called humility, that's well known in our process but, most importantly remember that there is no joy in life without the Vaishnavas and that impediments exist only to give you the impetus to take more responsibility. And admire the creativity of others, whether above or below your creativity. A necklace is composed of many stones ... while a necklace of a single stone is rather a chain, the devotees are the beads and the thread that connects them is the spiritual master and Krishna himself within the Vaisnava world. Each bead must be content with the existence of the other pearls because together we are shaping the collar. And while each bead has its own beauty and is self sufficient, not one pearl alone can be a necklace, but in the Vaishnava family this necklace is formed naturally, and the ones that fall outside of the collar are those that are not connected with Krishna or his spiritual master. So I say ...
For the future of the Vrinda Family we must ensure that there can be no circumstances in which a genuine pearl questions or prevents the existence and growth of other genuine pearls, and the nature of genuine pearls is to grow and expand, produce more pearls and perhaps one day produce more necklaces connected with the thread of Krishna and have the ability to expand to where he desires. So, take care to not apply the criterion of being absolutists to other pearls and necklaces because those who are genuine are empowered to sow the seed of faith and the consciousness of the great joy of his own existence and activity as well as the existence and activities of everyone else. This power of joy comes from Union in Diversity, it comes from an open mind, it comes from understanding and that in the kingdom of Krishna there are many varieties, not all the same...just like each tree species has particular type of leaves and each of the leaves of the tree are seen individually...In this way we can realize that our Creator has an infinite capacity for creativity and we leave to Him the right to decide at every moment of our lives. That means we must take responsibility for several areas and leave Krishna with the last decision.
In the future we will have plenty of variety, but accompanied by much imitation, and surely one or two who will appear to be a fraud. However,we must remain aloof from fraud, but without destroying the freedom of anyone. It is the right price that everyone can grow and expand the Vaishnava family because after all those which belong together remain together and all that is genuine does not need advertising, and what is fraud will eventually fall under its own weight.
So our responsibility is to connect with those who make us happy and those who we can help to make happy. And with this criterion we can recognize and so we know where to find the devotees whom are humble and happy, to know if the seed is good. And we will know where the devotees are sad and discouraged. With this I conclude my message today. I’m wishing each and every one of you thousands and thousands of blessings in the holy name of Krishna and the will of our Acharyas Srila Prabhupada ki jay.

Your always well-wisher,
Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti.

The Female Energy & Regulative Principles 4/22/12 (Germany)

Dear devotees
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Today is the appearance day of Srila Paramahamsa Maharaj, a disciple beloved by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada. He has a beautiful ashram right next to our Jahnavi Kunja Gaudiya Math in Mayapur. There is a very special devotee who is in charge, a pure devotee called Pratima. She is a disciple of Srila Paramahamsa Maharaj and is a good preacher. She is a great example of Vaishnavi. She was very close Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Mahraj. He asked her about being brahmacarini for life. So she is there, surrendered to her Gurudeva doing a very good service.
Today I want to share with you about the wonderful names of Srimati Radharani. Each name gives me a stimulating and special feeling. It is a feeling of fullness because they are connected to different pastimes of Radha and Krishna. She is behind everything even behind our Vishnupriya ashrams. She wants women to be happy and that they give this happiness to others...
When you spend time with a woman or give problems to a woman, you'll be in trouble and how? Chances are that you will be born in the same position and then suffer the same thing in which you gave suffering but no matter how it comes, really does not matter. Male or female are good if they are close to God and that is what we are supposed to become. And most seriously, under no circumstances can we deny the feminine power. She is the beginning of Bhakti, Gayatri, Vrindavan, she is everything. Laksmi is provided under this principle, so do not mess with Lakshmi and these different potencies, potencies of Srimati Radharani.
In a house where a woman is crying, the fortune disappears from there, because she is not just a woman, she is the representative of Radharani, the goddess of fortune. This is the biggest test in where you have to behave well. You have to make this successful life with the fact of making your wife and your children happy. And in the great spiritual family they are all our children and our wives. This means you really have to be a good example. I say again, do not play with the opposite sex. Be nice to them, friendly. Not even a married man is the master of his own wife. He has to be kindly towards her. A surrendered person tries doing the best for their family. What can I say? I can only inspire. Inspire you to preach, to sing, to be kind to one another. I can only be nice for you to say: Ok it is true, let me try to do the same.
It is difficult to have a responsibility; a commitment to a woman, in the Vedic system having sex means marriage. At the moment you touch a woman, you are responsible for her.  Women always have to be protected: By parents, siblings, adult children or spouses. This is a dangerous world. Who's protecting who? Radharani has a good word for everybody and cares for all. She is behind the matajis, the Maharanis. And a woman also must protect women. They help each other in terms of flirtatious mentality. We try to follow the Vedic recommendations. It says that a man should not be alone with a woman in a room  unless if they are married. Otherwise it becomes dangerous. Better not be alone with anyone anywhere. The desire to feel gratification comes from the same sex, so you have to pay the bill later.
In every female energy there is a connection with Radharani and if you make mistakes you will be far from Krishna and you'll be segregated from the world of love, and this is a very sad situation, and would be the biggest disaster of your life. As soon as you make problems to a Gopi of Krishna, you are penalized. Sure, women may be naive and innocent at times, but if they are in the field of their own protection, they are safe. We must be aware that Radharani is happy with everything we do for her. She is the all inspiring principle of pleasure and love; she makes Krishna happy, satisfied. There is much to learn from Krishna and his life. They are the best example of renunciation for married people; our only hope is his goodness, his favor, his consideration.

There is another topic that I wish to share this morning.

Some devotees, despite having promised not to play, there are not strict about the principles of loss of time and money. They waste their time playing, we even have a long list of names from Europe and South America where the devotees are part of a pyramid speculated business idea where you give your money and they promise you get 3 times more after some time. They forget through their greed that only by hard work is that you can win. If you want to get something easy without work or sacrifice, you will be deceived and lost. In the end it is only by hard work and making sacrifices for Krsna Consciousness can one succeed.
You assume that you get money when someone sells something. This is good only for the company. They cause people to do this, telling other people to work for them and they just sit back and receive money without doing anything, just sitting on an island, drinking orange juice and the world working for you. In this way they inspire you to see each person as a client and servant of your purpose. This principle is so sick and off in the real sense of life, but it is a modern way of tricking people. The product might be interesting, but that system simply is not working and does defile the mind and relationships. Devotees are also trying to find the easiest way to collect and sometimes support themselves. But the easiest way is very dangerous and tricky.
The disease is very strong game. Even banks invest money in the same system and lose everything. Humans are like idiots when they make easy money at the expense of others, because the easy money has to be at the expense of others, and when the others are devotees it is an offensive front, directly!
The stock market is also considered gambling by saying that some experts can help you make more money, they never give you any guarantee at the end if something goes wrong you say you lost because the financial world is in crisis, and there are even more stupid things.
There are gaming machines in small restaurants or casinos where you can put some money and see many colors, loud noises and symbols. And so you get the applause idiot because you lost your money, and then every now and then, after you lose $ 10, you win $ 5, and now this is the right  track that is what you are thinking. And now you think you will get your money back but in the end all the money is in the machine and you go home with nothing in your pocket.
I cannot believe that the devotees can do this, but I hear that sometimes happens ... so much illusion here in this world, how terrible is that we are addicted to become fools. This embarrasses me. All types of gambling are based on the greed of easy game. You just put a coin and got back 20 coins, Sound good? And sometimes you see people winning and think "oh if that were mine." It is the same lottery system making people greedy to show that jackpot and then collect millions and millions, and then provide another type of mechanism to return people in becoming increasingly greedy.
We must cut this right now. If someone comes to you and offers an easy ideal let it go and help your friends in the Vaishnava communities. Go and humbly collect with our products. This should be our joy and our income. Keep your feet on the ground, especially with our compassionate programs to help Mother Earth and animals. This is what we are, this is what we have and this is what we do. Otherwise I prefer not to have a comfortable life and in return not give up my ideals. This is the basis of our progress. Look what Krishna has given you, what He has given us. Look at the beautiful farms, music, Krishna is very kind to us and we must work with what He has delivered into our hands. We are not rushing to Alaska to find gold, because gold is not our heart to heart relationship with others. That is our joy given by the Acharyas that protect us from greed and envy of the world. We are singing and dancing, all that Krishna gives us we want to share with everyone, not ours,  it belongs to Krsna, and if you need something for you work hard, take what you need and gives the rest to Krishna. All the great privileges we get never will be obtained in the material world.
Please share this information with all members of the temple and warn them of these activities. We thank Srila Prabhupada for giving us the four regulative principles.
This is my message for today, with all my love from Berlin. Jay Srila Prabhupada!

Your always well-wisher,
Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti.

Report of these Days 4/15/12

Reports of these days.

Vrinda Family Sunday Chat ki jay. Srila Guru Maharaj is traveling between Switzerland and Austria. Yesterday he was in Switzerland and later will arrive at Austria. Our brothers from Germany Yatra had beautiful days of Mela with Gurudeva.

Srila Guru Maharaj has an intense schedule these days and in two weeks starts another tour in South America to 6 countries visiting almost 20 centers. For Guru Maharaj, every day, is more difficult to make his itinerary to cover all locations. There are many Vrinda centers that Guru Maharaj does not know personally, for example in Peru in Trujillo, a city in the north, there is a spiritual sister that maintains a yoga and dance academy, Mother Hera Pancami is the leader of the center and along with Svetadip mother, give lectures. Gurudeva receives invitations all the time, "Come, come please! You must come and give your blessings. “Signed: Your children of the Philippines.

Guru Maharaj said a few days ago:

"The mission sometimes seems small and sometimes very great"

There are great yatras yearning to have more days with Guru Maharaj, but somehow that is less days to another. But in general everywhere, the pace is intense; perhaps small places but many projects and individuals to address, for example, on the last tour in Colombia, Guru Maharaj visited three relatively small cities: Pasto, Ipiales and Tulcán (City to the North of Ecuador's border with Colombia). In all three places organized events with more than 100 people, one in the conference room of a bank, the other in a cultural center of a theater. Lately Guru Maharaj visit more sites than before, and in less time. A good group of devotees question, "How does Guru Maharaj keep so lively and strong with such an intense pace?"

This makes us meditate more on how to better serve Gurudeva, it is a matter of details ... Here I want to share a list of points with no order of priority or importance, spontaneously every leader and member of the community should meditate before receiving Gurudeva in your city or program.

Some may sound a bit strict or demanding but when in practice it looks like that. It is the enthusiasm that one day it can be like that and think, "It is best for Gurudeva." Nor do we want to assess the love of the devotees, because we are a family of spiritual love and we do not want to damage the spontaneous love of a disciple for his Guru. No, we do not want that, but there must also be a criterion or guide to stay current on what our Gurudeva also expects of us. Primarily for devotees or youth leaders who have no direct guidance of a senior devotee or sannyasi who teach them how to serve Guru Maharaj or keep up with the mission. Well, the truth is it can be a long list of many more points but I'll try to summarize what I think right now are priorities. I hope the list serves, and of course, also can accommodate all the time, place and circumstances. Well, with your blessings, here we go ...

1. Assign a devotee of Guru Maharaj as assistant. This devotee has the lead role of coordinating all matters relating to the personal attention of Gurudeva. For example, be attentive to the clothes, schedules, serve prasadam, etc.. It's like a constant companion. Preferably a senior Brahmacari of the community.

2. Assign a devotee or mataji head of the kitchen for Gurudeva as well as a team of assistants. This is one of the most complex and sensitive but very important because the mood of Guru Maharaj is not to expect great delicious food, rather Guru Maharaj always prefers simple meals but healthy and well prepared.

3. Organize the work area and rest area of Guru Maharaj. A place where Guru Maharaj can take time off. It should be a room ready for this, not painted the previous week nor combined with other uses. You must have natural ventilation, well equipped bathroom (with spoon products), do not use fresheners. The room can be decorated with photos of past acaryas or projects such as farms. There should be telephone facilities, have wireless internet (wifi) and all those little things must have a basic room as a key to security of things. Also there should be a normal and simple desk and chair. This is important.

4. Think hard about the logistics of the conferences of Guru Maharaj. Also a big subject is having a good board with new markers as well as a program for children at the time of the class. The latter is extremely important. Then Guru Maharaj, and nobody can give a lecture if you have kids running in front of you. This is complex because it is a sensitive issue with parents, who are usually senior devotees, and are not happy being told they cannot be there with their children. But this is organized from before having a good program for children in another area and children are happy and the parents and Guru Maharaj as well. Then all the logistics are important: a good microphone, projector, water, and all the details because it is the main activity of Guru Maharaj in his work as an educator: to give conferences and each conference is historic.

5. The istagosti community. One of the principal meditations of Guru Maharaj to visit a center is to meet with leaders to plan and enhance the preaching and distributing the nectar of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Then Istagosti is like the heart of the visit. You have to assign a group to prepare this meeting. Summon all the leaders, have previous reunions on how to present reports, prepare a written report of each program of economic goal, prepare a report on the situation of the temple, the project list, the minutes of previous meeting, questions to the spiritual master, new projects, etc.. This meeting usually takes a day or many hours and it is the time where we all celebrate the expansion of mercy.

6. The leader. An important issue. The leader has to prepare for a visit of Guru Maharaj. This role has many tasks: the first is to list all the devotees of the community and their participation in the last six months. Who needs immediate attention or projects. You should also have somewhere in the temple a large in size list of all donors in the community. You should offer all honor to those who willingly collaborate with the temple. Also the leader should be the one who presents all new devotees who want to be initiated and introduces them to the Guru Maharaj. The leader also comes with Gurudeva. The leader has to reserve all his time with Gurudeva and coordinate all at once. There you can see the leader's ability to delegate tasks and to connect them all with the visit of Guru Maharaj.

7. The program. A month before the visit of Guru Maharaj, secretary of the temple or the leader should write a letter to Guru Maharaj or to Guru Maharaj’s secretary sending the program plan and design of the poster, name of the conference and the whole package advertising the plan of Gurudeva's visit for approval, revision or amendment if necessary. This is important because many times Guru Maharaj knows nothing about the program and everything is a surprise as well that Guru Maharaj may suggest the names of the conferences in cases that they are to be large compared to a university faculty. etc. Also there should be mentioned of the places that will be visited and where you plan to be taking Guru Mahraja. This is important because Guru Maharaj has also his own program for each site of visit and which supersedes. For example Guru Maharaj often prefers to spend more time with the leaders in an estate planning the mission to give a lecture at a university.

8. Initiations. A devotee or mother must be alert to prepare new candidates for initiation. They should receive an induction course and before being pre-initiated by the local leader or sannyasi. Also the applicant should be happy doing a service to the community because initiation is the entrance to the family and this is at heart, not only begins with the teacher but also initiated with his family. The applicant must have a service relationship with the local leader and be recommended. The spiritual master is not conditioned to this to give blessings but it is the appropriate way to ensure that such person establishes a strong bond with his spiritual master especially if it is the first time he/she sees him. It is not about limiting the mercy; however it is to provide better service to all those who want to connect with Guru Maharaj.

9. The health of Guru Maharaj. A sensitive issue. It has to do with nutritional development and the pace of work. We all want Gurudev to be well and Guru Maharaj is well usually. The duty of a disciple is to care for his spiritual master. That means respecting his time of rest, honoring prasadam, sharing, walking, to communicate, to meditate. etc. It is very important. Well, I said this many times but when it comes to Guru Maharaja there is a universe of topics, and much to attend to. Mercy for us. Then Guru Maharaj needs that devotees give him time for everything, so it is important to have a good set of interviews, where each person comes with a subject in a paper, where each one comes with a possible solution, where each devotee has spoken already with the local leader, where everyone is aware of all the effort made by Gurudeva to dedicate himself to us even if it be for 10 minutes. Then at other times it can be a day or a week but think that Guru Maharaja needs to take time.

10. Keeping up with the mission. Guru Maharaj wants to go to a temple and feel at home. How so? That the temple reveals that it understands the mission of Gurudeva. For example, have okis, passports, personalized sankirtan, HOW programs, istagostis, sending donations to Vrindavan dhama, having a program of impeccable deity worship, there are programs for children, there are retreats and promotion to the farm , there is lecture of the chat on Sunday, good prasadam for the devotees, there is good japa sadhana and program with an utmost standard class of Srimad Bhagavatam every day, at night two classes: one for guests, other for advanced devotees, that there is sweet kirtan, not strong kirtans, welcoming kirtans, there is a good table with all the materials of Seva, do not lack enthusiasm of Srila Prabhupada, there is a Vaishnava Academy curriculum, current on rent, taxes, etc.. it is a long list.

Well, this list is incomplete, you can say much more ... And surely I forget important things sometimes you want to offer more things, but usually you can always do more to motivate the devotees of the communities, for example the issue of donations, support the collection of the devotees who see the passages of Gurudeva, also support participants in seva so they can have appropriate facilitation, a good transport for Gurudeva and his companions, even a good photographer or someone to film and document. They are the only records that we have in the future with unforgettable moments where every minute is priced invaluable.

Thanks for letting me share these points and forgive the small errors in this attempt. Now, a report of the visit of Guru Maharaja in Germany .Srila Guru Maharaja Ki Jay!

Report of Guru Maharaja’s visit to Germany

Now we share with you a report of Gurudeva's visit in Germany, which was sent by Mother Sanketvan Devi Dasi

Haribol, dear devotees. Hare Krsna, we will share with you a short report of the last days of Gurudeva's visit in Germany.

In Europe, Vrinda family is much smaller than in South America but is increasingly growing. Devotees of Berlin are very fortunate, because they have the presence of Gurudeva two or three times a year. On this visit, Gurudeva came from India. First we had the celebration of the Mela held every year in spring time. This festival was attended mainly by devotees from Germany, but also with devotees from other places such as Bulgaria, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Italy, and this time Tenerife also attended.

It's a beautiful place in the forest, near a town called Neu Sammit. Devotees rent a house near the lake. For five days we made our festival there with programs in the mornings and afternoons. Several workshops and seminars devotees issued in relation to different topics. Grhastas as well organized children's programs. There were performances, a concert by Gita Manjari of Colombia, a concert of Sri Ram Prabhu, a bit of electronic music with mantras and more. We also welcomed the initiation of new spiritual brothers and a marriage. Afterwards returning to Berlin, the program continued with Gurudeva in Kurukshetra Mandir with their Lordships Sri Sri Gauranga Gandharvika Govinda Sundaram.

Gurudeva taught in the morning and afternoon. In Berlin there are two ashrams; Kurukshetra is the main temple, a Vishnu priya ashram. The Vishnu priya is growing with many new mothers, and they plan many new activities. We have the temple and Vaisnava Academy, Indian store, yoga classes, and vegetarian club. There is also a small ashram of brahmacaris for the attention of their Lordships. We also have the Vrinda Kunja Ashram, the Brahmacari Ashram. There is a project to build another temple in Vrinda Kunja for their Lordships. Also the idea is that in Vrinda Kunja there can be a center for yoga, therapies and study. The Om club is also there and devotees are able to create new alternatives for the preaching project. There is also Atelie Art of Srauti Maharaj.

All projects are in the pioneer state and need considerable support. There is also the project of Govinda Bauernof with devotees who live nearby. Temple also has a space for brahmacaris and matajis where support is needed in the work they perform. Gurudeva's effort was primarily to remind us that no matter where devotees live, or are grhastas or not, yet we are all a part of the same family, and we try to connect, to appreciate and help others to work together with Krsna. Unity in diversity.

Now, Guru Maharaj is on tour with some devotees. He visited Munchen in southern Germany, home of Patita Pavana D. and Mohini d.d. They had a nice program, and then Gurudeva visited Switzerland, where today is his last day there. Today Gurudeva travels to Austria, where he will visit Giridhari Ashram where Gopal Nrsimha and Yashoda Shakti dd have a small center with the help of Prabhupada Kripa Prabhu and his family. They also organized a program in the small town of Kapfenberg.

The preaching of the devotees is mostly with yoga classes, massage and natural medicine. Then Guru Maharaj will visit UNNUECO, Harijan Maharaj center in Budapest, Hungary. It's a new preaching center with many activities and people who visit it. Finally we receive the mercy of Guru Maharaj again for the festival on Sunday 22nd of April. After that the 23 He will be on travel to Miami and will continue with his travels in South America with many projects and devotees.

The Dham From Mayapur 4/1/12

Report.
Sri Gauranga Radha Vrajesvara, ki jay, Srila Gurudeva ki jay!
Please accept my obeisances, Srila Gurudeva is in Mayapur Sridham alongside BV Tapasvi Maharaj of Peru, who accompanied him on this trip to participate in the 88th celebration vyasapuja of Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Maharaj, within a day He will be back in Vrindavan for leave the following day to Europe, and after a month, continuing the transcendental parikram throughout South America.

Conference from Mayapur.

My dear devotees. Greetings from Mayapur Dham. Ram Navami is today and Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Maharaj's vyasapuja which is why I came to Mayapur for the festival.
Today I was with my siksa Guru Srila Bhakti siksa Bhalab Tirtha Maharaj. He is 88 years now and I didn’t want to miss his vyasapuja. Talking to him, he regretted that he cannot act youthfully and that made me think. Despite that, his ability to recall and lucidity are very large. This is a time when the Guru gives us more mercy to show us what He needs of us,that does not mean that your capacity decreases, rather He is giving us more love in a very generous form.
On the other hand, I want to tell you about what we just finished in the Office of Vrindavan, the printing of chaddar awareness, the function were invented in Vrindavan to sensitize children to the basics of spiritual life and ecological behavior. Now we did the translation of that mantle for South America and put some other ideas. This mantle is presented with the Original Kingdom, Universal Love, the concept of non-sectarian, and as human beings we have to take care of nature and our relationships. It's a mantle in the spirit of Oida Therapy. Since then it has the logos of Yoga Inbound, of Oida therapy and for this reason is functional in all directions. The same idea of the monument of the union of religions that we did in Peru is there, headed with some logos of the different mystic currents accompanied with the saying:

"He who seeks God without doing damage to nature and other beings, is on the right track."

This motto is very nice, because it can show the non - sectarian nature and openness of the devotees. For the time being it works to be used in the temples, and Yoga centers, and vegetarian restaurants ... It is very educational. It also has all the Eco Yoga Villages and it is a pilgrimage around them. The idea for this came from the mantras - husks from India, but this is a new idea that has been widely accepted in Vrindavan and is being hung in many temples. We have left it more for the Oida Veda because it includes some temples of Vrindavan, but it’s still remaining very open. It is very useful for children who can learn all the positive messages that are here. It is so overloaded with ideas that one could easily give a lecture for two hours on each of the messages that appear on this platform ...
Print it on a small scale, by block, to keep it as consistent as possible. And we distribute to all schools in all temples. It is a great testimony, a great preacher of environmental awareness, so I want each of you to distribute at least 50 of them. The print is a bit expensive for being a craft and the mantle is about two meters by 80 centimeters. The cost of the coat is $ 4 and the SEVA India is making a great effort to produce and distribute. It's so educational that every grhasta should make it their duty hanging it in his house too. It is a cloak that makes us remember our services in Vrindavan, for all of you to continue to support it.
I want to tell you about the other day how we had a meeting of the Braj Vrindavan Heritage Alliance where we got the opportunity to lead awareness in Vrindavan in an official manner.
So far everything has been a little semi-official because of my activism, but now at this meeting we were commissioned in this area. The other reason is that we have dedicated to produce conscientious materials in Hindi and English, such as this mantle that we are producing now in Spanish. This mantle is a wall decoration, a factor which must be everywhere. It has awareness in every way: such as not using plastic bags, polyethylene, but also an incentive to read the sacred books, etc.. So people can become conscious of many things. Because in reality we are very unconscious.
How long have you had good working compost? Very few. And that is a statement of our commitment to the environment from the Vrinda family. And I've tried to do this mantle in a way that is very non - sectarian. These are messages from the heart of the mission, and values associated with science. I hope you enjoy this mantle and encourage it to be hanged. This mantle is well publicized and all that it is going to cause is to bring us more friendships. Because it is very broad and it is very important, without amplitude I could not work with all environmental groups, indigenous groups, etc..to try to help them feel all the great information from our acaryas that everyone should try to be happy living in healthy ways.
For me it would be a great satisfaction to see these mantles in conscious schools like Waldorf and such organizations, so that people become more and more aware. This was a product made in the office of Vrindavan when thinking about preaching to reach the world. So, please cooperate with this new contribution we have made, because its aim is to unite our efforts with organic farms, and voluntary work. At this link everything is there.

The situation of cleaning Vrindavan is more intensified, for this I thank all the devotees who have helped us, because it’s a very beautiful project for Vrindavan by which our mission is helping in many ways. Thanks to our friend Chandi and KPS Gill, we have been participating and been involved in one of the most revolutionary changes that Vrindavan has seen in the past 30 years. Rather, thanks to the efforts we made with them, Yamuna moved about 300 yards to the original ghats at the height of Cheer Ghat. In fact you could do the same above, at the height of the temple of Madan Mohan, but this would be a future project looking at the plans that Lord Krishna has for us, because every time they come in great waters in the rainy season there is a change of scenery.
The reason that the Yamuna was so far from Vrindavan was because its natural channel was filled with sand and materials from destroyed houses during the past 100 years.
So gradually the Yamuna was sent away from Vrindavan and the fatal blow was when the government wanted to make the bridge in front of the Keshi Ghat, which was to destroy the landscape of Vrindavan as a whole, which also caused the big problem that the sewage from Vrindavan (which have been completely neglected until now) not only flowed to the river, but gathered in a lake that almost was poisoning the groundwater in Vrindavan.
So, with this step to bring the Yamuna back, we solve the problem most dangerous, because there is no standing water and boats can take a trip back in front of the ghats, very beautiful. Something we could not imagine a few months ago when we made the first excavation with shovels to reach the river again. This step also committed us to other work that we had planned but we were backed up and it was that the solids from the waste water no longer reach the Yamuna. So for this, these days we installed three grids, one very large and very expensive because the wastewater comes into the sewage… of about 20 neighborhoods and we are doing a check before this reaches the Yamuna’s drain to stop the materials to arrive in this direction. And now comes the second part of organizing these grids and that’s to be cleaned daily so as not to cause a flood of sewage on the beach.
Then all the garbage that is out there has to dry (it is wet) and is transported to the landfill to the city official. There is enough work and we are trying to motivate people to participate, which somehow it is going on. For example, we just finished putting on, with help from Chandi stone seats in front of the Yamuna, so that older people can sit and the beach is becoming a very nice and caring environment, which was once a contaminated landfill and frightening, where people who wanted to reach the Yamuna had to walk miles, because the river was very far. So we are progressing, although there is little we have done.
And we just got back P. Amal, who was in the south of India who will join our effort to clean the Yamuna overseeing our team of 6 workers and volunteers, a team that we are just forming. We are also cooperating very closely with the organization of my friend Rupa Raghunath of Sandipani Muni School with the issue of transportation of garbage, etc.. and is creating an atmosphere every time even better for Vrindavan.
In this last BVHA meeting we practically received the responsibility to commit for cleaning the Yamuna and that gives us the freedom to say what we are representing to all vrajavasis and we have very good friends among them. All this has also created a new air for Vrinda Kunja, because each of our devotees has been active, daily, in cleaning and supervising the workers. Also P. Amal has become a supervisor to ensure that all our work is accomplished. So I really ask that each temple of Vrinda make a good collection for Vrindavan and Mayapur, and people who live outside of the temple has a chance to send even a small donation per person to support the service to the Dham.
That's a great purification and allows them to be part of the development of Vrindavan.
Moreover, it has also helped us keep our team here, because India is not as cheap as before. When I started the temples of Vrindavan we survived off of $1000 to $1500 per month and today our expenses have increased, reaching $4000 per month to cover all the projects we are doing here, including the temples at Mayapur. Therefore, the fact that Vrinda Mission is more aware of these developments it seems very appropriate, especially considering that different tours and devotees come to Vrindavan and Mayapur and here they can find your cause. For example:
Right now I have a big decision, as we have several places in Vrinda Kunja fenced to prevent the monkeys from destroying the plants, but now they have several years and have begun to break. And I can put networks of the same material again, but investing the triple we can get some covered with a thick wire and stainless steel that can last 20 to 30 years, but it is a significant expense for our temples. For this we need the help of all the temples for India. That makes our devotees feel very supported here. Please consider that you send donations to India barely out of the pockets of the temple, but from the enthusiasm of the friends of Krishna who start worrying about collecting and work for Vrindavan.
The same will bring many curious friends to come to visit and see the Dham and deepen their Krishna Consciousness. If each church maintains a worker, which are $100 per month, this is a great support to Vrindavan and also to all the devotees who are part of team working and supervising our SEVA. For example, mother Rukmini of Chile was in charge for 6 months for cleaning and did a very dedicated and very beautiful service, they left the entire Tatha Sthan site completely clean. And now we have a team much more stable.
Do not feel that I want to divert your attention from your own communities or organic farms; I just want to have the opportunity to benefit the Dham by making a small service to the Dham. Please go ahead and enthusiastically keep creating awareness that we are a mission that wants create Vrindavan in the world.
For our Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada clearly emphasized that we must clean Vrindavan, restore the temples and worship the deity of Lord Krishna, and this latter is what you do very well everywhere. In fact, caring for the family in India Vrinda has been a very nice job, considering this a wonderful opportunity to be together once a year in the Braj Mandal Parikramas which have been exemplary, because through them we have cleaned many sites sacred Dhams which were far from Vrindavan like Maan Sarovar, Ter Kadamba, Kusum Sarovar ...
We also have the current program to make beautiful gardens in Vrindavan, what we are doing in Radha Gopinath Mandir today. Many devotees have come to help when they have been part of our group parikrama. Now I will begin a new tour of Europe and South America, to meet again with all of you who are serving every day our Lord.
I would like to stay in each preaching center at least a month, but I don’t have this time, so I try to devote myself to the devotees in writing, in my prayers, through recorded lectures, messages in the Sunday chat, etc. . I ask you not feel bad if I cannot physically be in the temples, but I rather try to choose the places where most devotees can come so we can meet everyone. It makes me very sad that devotees feel bad about it. We continue forward in this struggle to please Srila Prabhupada. I leave all my love and a happy day of Ram Navami here in India (although in the West it was yesterday), Jay Srila Prabhupada!
Your always well wisher,
Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti.
