Dear devotees
A special hug to everyone in the new year.

We offer this year to Krishna, our Gurudeva and to collaboration for better awareness in this world. These moments of change, of a new year, also serves as an opportunity to reflect on how we have advanced. To advance in spiritual life the most important thing to do is to be under the shelter of the devotees. Always preaching and obedient to their instructions. Continue sharing in the chanting of the holy name with all those you meet along the way. That is the major occupation and thus all the blessings will be showered upon you. Never doubt this.

For sankirtaneer, the marathon  doesn't end in December, the marathon continues with the whole spirit of sankirtan. This is the greatest blessing given by Lord Caitanya. Chanting your rounds. This is the most effective way to remove inauspicious things. Do you want to distance yourself from inauspicious influences? Then put on tilaka and chant the name of Lord Nrsimha. If you keep your prayers that for sure will disappear. Try to maintain an atmosphere with the vibration of the mantras present and have faith that Krishna is always with you.

Krishna always blesses us even in difficulties. Keep in mind that we are where our heart are. A heart vibrating in serving Guru is a heart is saved.

Preaching is the essence of our life. And there we not only save people, we save ourselves. From what are we saved? We are saved from false joys and addictions. We are saved from going through this world and can do something positive. Sure you can do more. This thought gives me hope every day. And now that the year begins its something you can think more about.

For example: What do we do to promote wisdom and the values of Sanatan Dharma in this world? What do we do to awaken the values in young people? But it all starts in our personal practice. Partnering with devotees is the key. A day with the devotees is ecstasy. For me, the association of devotees is what saves me. And the leaders are pure gems.

It is my desire that all of you become leaders. There is much scope and  it newly appears each year.
One thinks that this year we wish to finish some services but then Krishna sends us new services. We have not even finished the previous ones and yet Krishna hands us new things. And services that one can not: no that, I don't have time.

For example: Now I went to Bangladesh and met wonderful devotees who wanted to connect with the Vrinda family. More service for me and for you all. I pray to Krishna to send us more good devotees to cover all the services he also commanded from us to perform. And you never know what surprises may come. At least I do not know. The only thing  that I know  that in life what gives reason for living is preaching.

We have seen the example of our Acharyas, until the very last minute of their lives they were preaching. Health may be bad and one leaves this world but one can also receive miracles. Many devotees told me: "now I'm leaving this world" and I told them: "Preach in the meantime as much as you can and till this day they continue to preach after years." Good therapy, right?

For example these days in Mayapur we are very successfully presenting a play to sensitize people about the care of the sacred rivers. We also continue to finish marathon publications, working with the office group in projects for the entire mission, and happy with the news of the marathon. Congratulations to all the devotees who participated. I am excited to know who is in the spirit of preaching one hundred percent.

These days I had a visit from a quero of Peru here in Mayapur. A grandparent. We present him the work of Rius and he was fascinated. We was happy that for his boys there is an understanding of the dangers of our modern errors. I was moved by his reaction.

Lately I have received many publications that are great for the start of the University. This confirms to me that our little attempt is being blessed by Krishna. It is not my project it is a project of Krishna's. And now we're working on all this so that they can develop it in South America. This makes me more present in South America than in India.Where I am, there I am dedicated to projects.

For example Faith education, the World Conscious Pact, the University opens many doors and makes many friends. Everyone can help. We do not want anything but to serve the people. If anything is impure it always comes out to the surface. And the people who do not understand what is being done then this year one has to devote themselves to understand. The name of Krishna is above everything. Of course, maya is always at our doors to serve our whims. Struggle to fight with love. This is my message for this Chat.

I am always happy to hear the reports of each temple. They can be sent directly or to my secretary. Also reports of service and personal study with specific questions where they need help. Study questions can be read here in the class and answered. I appreciate the effort of the devotees that are connecting the members of the Vrinda family with these messages, chats. It is very generous and helpful so that I can communicate with all the temples and everyone can read it. Thanks to all involved in this.

My dear devotees
Preachers of love,

In full marathon, the first week. And the result is exciting that Thakur Prabhu in Peru and his group have obtained. At the same time, there are several important events of the marathon, like Kiwa in Colombia and the tribunal against the abuse of Mother Earth in Peru. A concert of our friend Hector Buitrago in Lima in the margin of the People's Summit. A lot of service. While here in India we have already presented four plays successfully at the Ekachakra villages in Kattwa and Navadvip. We are now being invited to other places like Ambika Kalna and other sacred sites of the pastimes of Lord Caitanya. Who can understand it? Pure mercy.

Krishna knows what he wants. When things get tough in my life I take refuge in two sentences: "Everything that happens that Krishna allows is perfect, it must be so ... if not, it would not have happened": And when circumstances still seem ugly, I take refuge in the phrase "every cloud has a silver lining" and with that, I calm the mind completely, otherwise how will I calm the mind of others if my own mind is agitated.

Therefore, by calming my own mind I extend my hand to the people who are still sad or agitated so they can also feel the protection of reflection and thus can begin the process of harmonization with the prayer "vanca kalpa tarubhyas ca ...: apologizing to all others who may have been offended by my conscious or unconscious behaviors in the past. With this attitude of humility one can go into battle again, in a pleasant and appreciative way. And by doing so reach goals in a transparent manner of what I should give to those around me.

Of course, when something happens that I do not like, I should complain to my authority to harmonize things. Because harmonization is possible when one receives the authorization for it. At certain times of conflict in the world it is necessary to consult the guardian of both sides. The guardian who is accepted by both sides of the conflict. However, preaching is our life. And preaching brings conflict. And in order to grow one must experience conflict ... or rather, when there is growth conflicts will appear. Each new child in the world means a new problem. Each new temple, it means new challenges. So when we preach we are inviting new problems. Secondly, to avoid problems there should be transparency, especially if a program handles Lakshmi, for many reasons it should remain transparent.

We are in Kali Yuga and there is a lot of envy. Now we need to realize this so it does not remain as just a theory. And so we do not have to learn it again. I send you a hug in this marathon that you are having there. With love I say goodbye from Mayapur Dham.

Dear devotees
Receive all my affection from Spain. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Ratha Yatra, ki jay.

Today Lord Jagannath goes to distribute His mercy to everyone.
Even those who are not considered fit to receive His darshan, that mercy is given to them today. And thanks to Lord Jagannath who sent Srila Prabhupada, we in the West could also receive that mercy. Srila Prabhupada was able to establish the Ratha Yatras throughout the world.

Festivals of Universal Love. And today, in our spiritual family, we also have them and they have become real festivals of joy and art for God. Thanks to the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and the Supreme Lord, service possibilities are growing in our family. That's the life of the devotee, to serve. I deeply and wholeheartedly thank all those devotees who are giving all their love and dedication to the vrinda family.

Everything in the life of the devotee depends on the love that he gives to others. A devotee is not grumpy nor unhappy. A devotee is totally loving. Anger is an atheistic quality. Sometimes anger is pedagogical. For example a parent has to show some anger at the bad things you do to educate the child. Mahaprabhu also showed anger in some of His lilas to instruct His devotees. But I do not mean this kind of "educational anger," but the self-absorbed and selfish mode of anger. That's not natural for a devotee. The devotee is naturally affectionate and expresses their love in every moment, to all beings and in all services performed.

To grow and advance one needs to learn what unconditional kindness is. To grow you must be nice. Not just kind to some, but kind to all. The affection of the heart is the only thing that will allow us to serve. And indeed, our life and soul, our main motivation is service. We have no other reason to exist than to be engaged in service. Service, service, service. And what is service? Helping others, appreciating others, being useful to others.

Service implies staying motivated, healthy and happy to continue serving. Because life, after all, is not to relax. If you are a farmer and your job is to plant and harvest the field, then you need to get up early, you work with effort and dedication, sometimes even under the sun and heat, sometimes enduring the cold or rain. You have to learn to be patient and wait for the propitious times for planting and picking. If you are a lazy farmer it is unlikely that you will produce good crops. Everything depends on the dedication with which things are done. You must realize the great responsibility that it takes to become a cultivator of your spiritual life. The grand responsibility to cultivate your service. Because you have received a great gift from God, the service given to you by your spiritual master. So it is very important that each of you find an area in which you want to dedicate and fight in order to grow. And therefore extending your arms to the spiritual community and to all the possibility of serving them..

Being present and saying, 'I'm here, I'm willing to work on what is needed for the good of all.' All souls who cross your path have been put there by God for the purpose of teaching you to love. Do not take it as unimportant. Do not take it lightly. Serving those souls means to serve Krishna ...

Just as a child is the ability that God gives to parents to teach them how to love and serve, similarly, all the people God puts in our path have such a value. Only by planting the values ​​of love in our spiritual life can we flourish and grow. But that mentality is very lacking in today's society. Completely absent. The world teaches us to enjoy alone and without love. To have sex without thinking of children. To exploit others without caring whether they are good or not, but if we give away love and we remain in the association of devotees and our spiritual family, then we are protected.

I want to emphasize the importance of the people that Krishna has put in our way. They are our companions. Relationships should be sacred. Krishna gives us holy people. I feel enriched and indebted to the presence of each of you. Despite that, we have not been able to spend much time together or  we only see each other once a year when there is a big mela or when I visit your country, but still I feel that you have the ability to do a wonderful service and offer it to the Lotus Feet of Srila Prabhupada. That comforts me. So I ask you to become leaders in your service area. Commit to it. Develop responsibilities. And put forth the effort. Never stop striving in your service. Because when you stop trying complacency comes and everything loses its magic. The importance is bringing love to every place.

Man must be carrying the seed of love. Please take care of it and sow it into the hearts of all, so that they flourish in bhakti. And for that we have a variety of areas for preaching: We have Vaishnava Academies, the UDSA, Eco Yoga Villages, Yoga Monasteries ... Because the devotees of Krishna are the servants of humanity. They are the guardians of the seed of love and the same seeds that Mother Nature gives us. They are the guardians of proper consciousness and are responsible for engaging human society in the service of God. Srila Prabhupada taught us the importance of simple living and high thinking. So fur us to be able to serve in such a way, Krishna is giving us everything we need.

Therefore we just need to put all our skillfulness, enthusiasm and great clarity in the process. And we always keep chanting the holy name of the Lord and beg for mercy. Thereby allowing us to expand our awareness that we are guardians and servants.

What the Lord has given us is pure mercy, it is completely independent of our work. It's not something that we have produced. I know devotees have worked hard and I deeply appreciate your help and service, but I know it has not been by individual efforts and powers alone that this family has managed to do something... It is only by mercy. Well, as the saying goes: "Krishna Consciousness expands despite us" Despite our unconsciousness, despite our impurities, despite our indifferences, despite our lack of affection ... Yet Krishna Consciousness expands. All I have received are gifts from Krishna and the master plan behind it all is controlled by Krishna.

The master plan is based on what Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said: "pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nām" That everyone chanting the holy names of the Lord will listen. Although everything is controlled by Krishna, like He tells Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita: "it is up to you to carry out your duty for your own growth." In other words, we are not the controllers, hopefully we can make a plan ... but, either way, we have to comply with what we need to do and appreciate how Krishna manifests in our lives. One must become an instrument, nothing more. A complete instrument. An instrument of a service that does not bring sole profit to us. And not just to our community.

We are serving all of humanity. Without seeking personal gain. Our task is to spread the Eternal Divine Consciousness to all conditioned souls in the material world. This human form of life is meant for God. Destined for God. That's what I wanted to share with you today. We are here to do good, not to waste it. So, when we come out of this world we've done something good and not just wasted our life that will only force us to come back again to this world of suffering. So we have to preach and preach ...

We have to become serious and strive with joy. Never lose joy and affection. I wish that you all become happy and loving devotees and all that you do is filled with love for others.
