Sankirtan puts people in touch with God. Mallorca, Spain. 3/22/15
Very dear devotees, greetings from Mallorca, the beautiful island in the Mediterranean. In the company of the wonderful devotees of Spain and other countries. I send a fraternal greeting, all glories to Gurudeva Atulananda whose birthday just passed. We send a warm embrace and recommending always to take things to heart and work hard because that is the only way one can become qualified to understand the essence, because the essence is always something that one has to make a special effort for. One is not allowed to take things lightly or superficially, but requires that one treats it with the utmost care.
Today is Sunday, and tomorrow we will have the Theatre Mallorca festival where we will have 8 different spontaneous performances to convey to others the urgency of the message that has been chosen for the work. It's called the theater of emergencies.
There are several types of intelligence: rational, emotional and spiritual. The mantra Vanca Kalpa includes all these types of intelligence. The Vaisnava is always looking for the constructive welfare of others, and to be filled with compassion one must have great emotional and spiritual intelligence. The disenchantment with the material world, which wants to keep us from submitting to anyone except our false ego. This is the world that promotes selfishness, while the Vaisnava is always aware of the welfare of others. Thus the sankirtaneer is always aware of the welfare of all, all he does is look how to help others. A sankirtaneer can never be inattentive, even if he works with many people, each contact has a connection like the level of detail of a heart surgeon, because a wrong movement can even kill. One must be extremely cautious in the way he talks to people.
The sankirtaneer puts people in touch with God, not imposing but exposing. The service to animals, family, devotees, is a service to God. In all angles one must link all activities to God. But we must not think that we ourselves can liberate another from pain. Instead Krishna can, my Gurudeva can. They can give the form in which to find many treasures when one puts the welfare of oneself submissively to the world. You can measure many things but you can not measure the transcendental, you can feel it but not measure it. Maya means that which can be measured, but the transcendental cannot be measured.
One always feels they are the most important and what one has to do is most important and it is partially true because if you did not exist you would not know of the existence of everything else. But this is very dangerous, because even though my life allows me to connect with others, we risk devaluing others. I can say, "My mom is the best in the world" and that may be fine, but one can not say "My mom is the best and only good mother out there." The same applies to Guru. I think my Guru is very special because I think I am the most important. "My Guru is the best Guru" that is fine. But "my Guru is the only good Guru alone" this is arrogance, it is ego, all about "me, me, me."
Everything is associated. When I think that my prayer is worth more than a native praying to the sun, that is arrogance. To think that God likes your prayer more than someone else's that is arrogant. To minimize or ridicule the faith of others is arrogant. Being in the state of "me, me, me" becomes offensive to others. Instead of producing something good it produces something negative. What makes you important is your love for others. I'm here just trying to serve, and I do not even have the essential criterion. The Vaisnava is a Vaisnava because they feel that they are not. He thinks he's an aspiring servant of the servant of the servant of the Vaishnavas.
Only when Krishna allows us to serve, can we do so and preach. When we have a bad conscience, depressed, unwilling, we need to go preach. If you do not want to ask anyone for anything, then sit on the street and sing "Oh my Lord let me be an instrument of your love", until someone asks you of out curiosity and you show them a book.
Prabhupada did not come to us personally, but through the efforts of others, and thus we worship all devotees that give us the truth. Nobody knows how to be happy whether with wealth or poverty. But devotees of Vrinda are richer, more than Bill Gates because wherever they arrive they are welcomed by hundreds of temples. Bill Gates will always have to pay to be received somewhere, but devotees have much fortune.
One of the main problems we have is intense laziness. The process of awakening enthusiasm to serve is through Sadhana, since the most essential element of Sadhana is to share what the spiritual master has given you with others. Mahaprabhu said, "I plant a tree of love and it grew and bore fruit, and I distributed the fruit but still many fruits kept falling and I do not have enough hands to distribute all these fruits, many hands are needed, so I need your help, because there are many who need these fruits and I can not distribute all, I need help. "
The idea of Sankirtan has changed a bit, it's more personal. It means that I treat you with all your needs. Ask "What do you need, are you a vegetarian? Here is the cookbook, here are CDs of the best chefs. Or do you want to know about reincarnation, here's the book. Or do you have someone with addiction problems, here's Vedic wisdom. Would you like to have a nice vacation? Here are the best places to go to in India or Colombia, or Mallorca. Personalized Sankirtan is: that I offer everything you could need. The essence is, I have nothing, this is the message of Srila Prabhupada. Sankirtan is a delight, it is the best thing to distribute to give a hand to many people. Today courses are made, Prasadam, but this is an excuse to be able to give them assistance. This preaching is education. It is the process of healing by healing others.
After all, despite not being qualified, do your best because it is all you can do, and do not be discouraged if for one reason or another there is a fall because they exist so one can overcome it, to recognize your flaws and weaknesses and to continue the struggle, because this is what we have to do. We can not wait to be perfect to go out and preach and help people.
Jay Srila Prabhupada!
With this message I leave today. Haribol.

Last day in India 3/15/15
Dear devotees,
Today is my last day in India, what can I say about all this time here, what can I say about the organization of mela for the past 6 months. I can not say anything but admirable, as to how the devotees have administered everything here. What can I say about our devotional musicians ... they have kept us all singing this entire time, and what to say about our experiences throughout the various places of Vrindavan, as always, fantastic. When you see that the temple of Radha Gopinath, which is being restored in a beautiful way, one is stunned and has no words to say. What to say about our chefs ... they were fantastic. We did not hear any complaints at all this time, cooks were amazing, really wonderful. This is very difficult to achieve. I could go on and on without end. What to say about each moment lived in these months ... our visit to the temples of Rajesthan ... the dance at Radha Gopinath Mandir, the reunion of the many sadhus everywhere we went, the sannyasis and acaryas illuminating us. Our visit to Berampur, our visit to Bangladesh where people are so beautiful, the visit to Kolkata where we find all those beautiful Vaishnava organizations gathered at a big festival to celebrate the appearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
The beautiful presentations of our drama in Bengal. What can I say! All this time in India has been amazing, the jewel of Bharata Varsa, we had never before received such a large group; More than 170 devotees arrived to share during Kartik and I must confess I was a bit scared of being able to receive this large of a group. .. and somehow or other we were able to host them all in a good manner. Sure, there were some adjustments. The work we are doing now in Vrindavan is hard work, but very beautiful, we need beautiful energy in Vrindavan for cleaning and all that we need to do to stop the disaster management. These past days we got together and defined all of what we have to do these months. And the Helping Hand program from Vrinda family helped a lot, but we also want to connect people from other parts that can make more changes in Vrindavan.
I am sad to leave. I told Mahatma Prabhu today, you do not know, I'm envious of you. You stay here and take responsibility for the entire project of great impact, of course, this will not be easy ... even in six months perhaps not much is achieved, we get maybe just a little, but our effort will be there.
I can only say that the devotees are very wonderful. One will never repay them for all that they do, rather I stay indebted to all of you forever, we only hope to achieve something for Vrindavan. One can not be in Vrindavan solely to eat and sleep, no ... I can not accept that as my dharma. So I hope that we can work hard; we have to perform our services very seriously. And increase our connection between India and South America. It is very sad to leave here, but my work in South America intensely called me, as Gurudeva Atulananda says, the dad is in South America :)
With these words I say goodbye today. All who wish to support the Vrindavan protection project, contact Mahatma Prabhu and Ambika, we need everyone's help.
Jay Srila Prabhupada!
Your always well wisher,
B.A. Paramadvaiti Swami
Traveling & Preaching 7/27/14 From Austria
Dear devotees. From Austria I send this chat today.
We are traveling at a rate of one country per day. So there is no desperation we are meeting beside rivers and lakes to take advantage of the beautiful Mother Nature in all its merciful aspects.
Right now I'm talking to Gandharvika, the Austrian artist. We are planning more Chaskis festivals. I am inviting her, as soon as she feels the need, to go to South America to do a Chaskis tour throughout all the temples.
Now tomorrow we are going to Hungary to a 6-day Mela where I can recuperate some strength. There we will be more calm. And Yatra in Germany, I can tell you that they just prepared the art of sadhana of Srila Bhakti Promode Puri Maharaj so they can start distributing it.
When you travel around Europe preaching you realize the nectar of preaching in South America. As you said, one does not know what you have until you lose it. So, I can tell you that I have received much mercy to represent Srila Prabhupada with you anywhere in the world. It's nice to open a mission anywhere in the world, but believe me it is a very hard thing and more so when it is in Europe.
The many number of projects that there are in South America is a great fortune to be able to know besides the devotees filled with much enthusiasm. But there is a very interesting thing for all of us and that is that the people in Europe are interested in the ancient villages. On this side, it can be shown that the ancient wisdom of India and that of the world is really one.
A base to see the world differently and solve the problems facing humanity. So I think we are in a historical moment where they are giving circumstances, that from my point of view, is a positive forecast for the Planet.
In recent days I have been discovering productions of Vrinda that I had not seen although they are not so new. Perhaps due to the saturation of our materials there are other very important material that I have missed. For example Gandharvika offers a new video clip called Wake up sleeping soul on youtube for all to see (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCBozWAJJKQ). Or mother Gita Manjari who has a beautiful video clip called Gopinath, to the tune of Ave Maria. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4dw6U51_-8)
I send all my affection. The celebration of 30 years of the Vrinda Mission we are celebrating everywhere, especially by the medium of sacred songs in all waters of the world.
Your always well wisher,
Swami Paramadvaiti
One should accept their prescribed duty . From Vrinda Kunja India 11/17/13
Conference from India.
Dear devotees,
The lack of clarity and love in our lives is taken to the extreme when people lose enthusiasm . We all know some of that experience to lose heart ; Like being lively one day and the next day not even wanting to get out of bed . So the sacrifice of this kartik goes hand in hand with the prayer to Krishna to always allow us to serve and to also be able to "tolerate" the devotees.
Why do I say "tolerate" ? Because, in reality, one should tolerate others. Then in the related life of devotees one has to learn to tolerate all that the materialistic mind will not let us understand . This becomes even a necessity, as the only connection we have with Krishna are the devotees and without them we can not do anything . When there are not devotees in our life, our life becomes empty , because without them we bow only to the support of our mind and thus always remain in the way of Maya.
Therefore, the association of devotees is a gift , just like any type of coexistence, it is somewhat difficult to take at times. That 's not even the fault of the devotees, they are not hard to bear, but it is the mind of oneself that cannot even stand at times itself as well as not wanting to live with others. :) . Thus, rather than endure or not endure, we must adjust to one of the basic principles of this world, that principle is fear.
Fear is the beginning and love is the solution. Why fear? Because every day we live in fear, the material world is made on the basis of fear. Fear of dying, fear of being sick, fear for something to happen. But fear may be replaced by a sense of duty. Duty is what makes one settle down and realize that you have to do things because " it's your duty " . " It is my duty to feed my children ", " It is my duty to get up early ," " I have to give Bhagavatam class ", it is a must. Keeping your body clean is a duty, observing ekadasi and glorifying Sri Krishna on holy days is a must, and singing the Holy Names is the highest duty. Having good relationships with others is also a very important duty. Imagine, we are 70 people here who have been through a full month ending today with Rasa Purnima and we have not fought at any time. That's an example that indeed one can maintain relationships with sympathy and affection constantly.
One should accept their prescribed duty joyfully. For example, the Braj Mandal Parikram with you is a great joy, but at the same time it is a must; it is something that we have had to maintain day to day : today is parikrama , beyond tomorrow somewhere else, etc. . , Etc. .
By confusion, one can reach the point of becoming bored to perform one's prescribed duty . Why? Because the mind tells me there is nothing better for me. But one should not be disturbed by the mind. So, he who really accepts the Guru, can replace the restless mind with that connection to always be planning and organizing on the basis of their prescribed duties. Because that makes the Guru the planner of the prescribed duties of individuals. He watches your life and projects your prescribed duties according to the position in which you are in: a sannyasi has a prescribed type of duty, a child has another and so each has their own prescribed duty.
For example , for a child of five years, his duty is prescibed to eat, stay clean and play, but, as the child grows and starts school and ( phew ) Now there comes the prescribedduties, everything becomes serious. Now the child must be up at a specific time, sit in the front of the teacher in the classroom, have good grades ... it is a rather bitter pill .
So if you can not be excited while performing your prescribed duties, there is another way. It is the output of attachment. The spiritual attachment. Attachment becomes love when one really takes it to heart, when it is taken seriously. What is attachment ? It is the ability to see the prescribed duty not as an obligation but as actions that can be filled with love. It makes everything easier. For example, I become attached to being with all the devotees here in Kartik, sharing every day, I can not think of the idea that we could cease to be together. I do not really like this idea, but my prescribed duty calls me to travel ... and we all have prescribed duty and the only solution is to stick to everything that has to do with that prescribed duty and do it with love. We do not even know if this will be the last time we meet. That is life, no?
Today we were in video calls with Mother Radha Tulasi Maharani, who left the body on Rasa Purnima day, something so auspicious and beautiful. She was a pujari of Their Lordships Sri Radha Vrajesvara for over 15 years. Radha Tulasi Maharani left the body in Varsana along with the devotees chanting the holy names at all times. A very wonderful Maharani who returns to the world of Krishna. I even felt jealous of such a beautiful departure. I wish I could leave the body in that way. It is a very strong experience, but also very beautiful . We all have to go through that and we will. In Krishna consciousness we know that and we are very grateful to be able to be ready to go, with full of love and zero resentment.
Resentments are like internal mice. Resentment means one blames others for things that happen, one complains of others not even understanding what is happening to oneself. So the phrase "Woe is me ," the victim's position is useless. It's worthless . We have to understand that and turn our prescribed duty into something sacred, accept our fate and all that Krishna has given us and appreciate it. Attachment to what one has to do, and with this very attachment constantly encourage yourself to improve, and bring happiness to those around you . I believe that only when one has attachment for his service one can really do things well. If one performs their prescribed duty, without attachment, then things are done half empty.
When one is attached to his service, he remains grateful. I hope that when you have any problem in life you can remember these words from this day, at the end of Kartik. And come to the conclusion within your heart that the only goal we have is to stick to Krishna, His devotees and your service, because in this attachment happiness lives. If one is not happy, then , how will you make others happy? That's a very important question. If you can not make others happy, then what is the value of what you are offering? If you do not have the predisposition or the ability to make others happy, then you have virtually guaranteed suffering.
There is much work to be done. Everywhere, in Colombia , in Chile, in each of our programs. When you lift something, when you start a service you have to work hard to maintain and adhere to the beauty of it every day ... appreciating every detail that Krsna has given us to perform.
With these words I leave you today, on this beautiful day of Rasa Purnima . I wish all of you who are charmed by the flute of Sri Krishna can fall in love with your service and all that Krishna has sent you. I send all of my affection from Vrinda Kunja on this auspicious day . Srimati Radha Tulasi Maharani back to the spiritual world ki jay.
All the beautiful and pious devotees who are dedicated and are fighting to fall in love with their service, prescribed duties, ki jay .
Srila Prabhupada ki jay, Rasa Purnima, ki jay, Kartik vrata, ki jay, Urja vrata, ki jay, Damodara masa ki jay!
Your always well wisher,
Swami B. A. Paramadvaiti
